A great place to unwind and get our land legs back

This hotel is lovely, clean, spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was a bit limited in selection but adequate. Located on a foothill behind town it has great views across the channel. A taxi ride from town to the hotel cost on average 30 peso (~US$10) but given that the hotel rate was about US$100 cheaper a night than the equivalent in town we were delighted with our choice and the savings we made.

Ask for Jorge

Our stay at Hotel Del Glaciar was great. The restaurant is nothing remarkable but Jorge who works at the desk was just great!!! He helped us with excursions, transportation, restaurants, luggage and laundry with grace, efficiency and professionalism.

Great view!

The hotel is at the top of the town by the Martial glacier with fantastic views in all directions. It is away from the noisy crowd filled town yet not too far. The rooms and baths were large and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was pretty standard for the area; a large assortment of breads and sweets, ham and cheeses, spreads, cereals, fruits and yogurts.
