Wingate By Wyndham Rome

Considering the limited hotel choices in the area, this is a decent choice. It's our 3rd time staying here. Lobby and room were clean and updated. Room was spacious with fridge. Workout room is tiny and the free breakfast is decent. Has a small pool which attracts younger kids. HVAC was a little annoying, room was either a little too warm or a little too cool.

This hotel was exceptionally clean, reasonably priced, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Not to mention it is always nice to come back to a hotel from a long day of meetings to some apples and freshly baked cookies.

arrived 2-15 on sat 2-16 and sun 2 17 no yogurt and no bananas were avail the oat meal on 2-16 was old also pool was out of service other than a couple of annoiances the hotel was very comfortable and 1 will certainly stay there again

Great location (proximity to office). Nice Tuesday night Manager's Reception (beer/wine/apps). Oddly, I did not have housekeeping service two of the five days I stayed. I was in the room until lunch each day and put the DND hanger on the doorknob. Not the worst that could have happened.

Good, clean hotel. Had the parking lot and walkways been cleared of snow and ice, I would have given this hotel a higher rating. I nearly killed myself on the ice walking from my car to the hotel lobby.

It was fine for the price. A step below a Hampton Inn. Rickety elevator, slightly less comfortable than Hampton Inn. Breakfast offerings less extensive - especially the lack of anything but sugary cereal options. The first room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke but they changed us to another easily (though without apology). I do worry that if another room hadn't been available it would have been very unpleasant to sleep in the room we had been given. Seems surprising that housekeeping wouldn't have noticed the stench.

The hotel was very well maintained and very nicely decorated. The staff was very attentive to our needs, even at the very last minute. The pool area was kept very nice and secured with a lock, similar to your room door lock. The continental breakfast was very well laid out and had a nice variety, between hot and cold dishes.

I loved the area the hotel was in. Most of Rome is not that nice. I didn't have a long stay but it was perfect for my needs. The whole reason I stayed at a hotel in the first place was to have access to the fitness facility, which actually wasn't too bad here. Yes it was small and didn't have much, but it worked for my needs for the two days I was there. I'd definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay near Rome.
