Good hotel, not the best locationPosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Staff and level of cleanliness and comfort
Cons: Noise reducing windows
Location: On outskirts of industrial zone but everything is close by e.g. Amersfoort town centre, station, buses, main canal, medieval city entrance, restaurant
The hotel, room and staff were all really good but I did get a good deal for a priveledge room. The only drawback is the noise from traffic and trains but it is located in the industrial sections outskirts. Very close to town 5 minte walk

Nice hotel close to town centrePosted May 31, 2014
Pros: Excellent room facilities and bathroom
Cons: Soap dish /holder in the shower
Location: Close to old town with lots of old streets and cafes
Very comfortable and looks like a new hotel. After looking at the catering arrangements for dinner they seemed to charge by the hour for eating at an all inclusive price which looked a bit complicated and to be honest off putting. We just wanted a simple dinner. We ate at burger king next door! Very good room facilities and modern tv/USB charging points. Tea and coffee very welcome. Bathroom floor fab - you can choose underfloor heating! Bathroom very modern with walk in shower. Excellent facilities.

Very nice, internet is badPosted May 6, 2014
Everything was nearly perfect with reasonable prices. The only thing is the internet, which is very slow.

Charming townPosted May 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Would advise people visiting Amsterdam to stay here instead. A short train ride away and a lovely village to photograph. Great dining too. Very comfy and large room. Quiet and clean.

Brand newPosted Apr 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a brand new Mercure hotel (around one year old). The location is quite good (near train station), but the best was the room and overall value: room is contemporary, with large hi-def tv (incl. hi-def broadcast), and features everywhere nice led lights. only minor drawback was hard-to-reach soap dispenser in bathroom and board above sink (you easily hit your head).

Good hotelPosted Apr 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
Nice rooms. Very close to the train station. The only negative thing was the staff: a lady in the reception was really unpolite. I just asked about the check in time but she was really rude.

Well designed and spotlessly clean rooms. Very handy to walk into town.

Nice clean hotel close to the new town-centrePosted Mar 14, 2014
Pros: About one km from the train station (walkable)
Location: Next door to supermarkets, opposite a cinema (Pathe) and other stores. Has a bus stop right outside with frequent buses to the central railway station
Was staying here while on business. It's fairly centrally located, close to the new town centre and walking distance to the old town. Has a Burger King next door that's open until midnight and has a decent restaurant of their own. The staff is nice and polite.
