Park Plaza Utrecht is a four star property, located within walking distance of the Central Station, congress centre 'De Jaarbeurs' and the historical city centre. The hotel is easy accessible by public transport and by car. Guests can park their car at the hotel's parking area upon availability.After a busy day you can have a seat in the bar/brasserie and enjoy a nice drink or you can relax in the fitness and sauna area of the hotel. Restaurant 'Plein 50' is opened every day and offers an extensive breakfast buffet in the morning, a lunch buffet or a la carte lunch in the afternoon and a la carte diner in the evening. The hotel has as well 11 conference rooms and a private dining room, all with natural daylight and free WiFi. The employees of Park Plaza Utrecht are looking forward to welcome you and answer your questions, the employees speak multiple languages. Within the whole building smoking is not allowed.

“Good hotel”
I was given a room on the 6th floor with a shower bath-room, but the shower was not covered with a full cubicle, so the water from the shower exited the shower box and wet the floor of all bath-room. It was the strangest shower-box design I have ever had. On my second day there, I did not want anybody (including the hotel-maid) to enter my room, so I put the sign "Do not disturb" on my door-handle outside. Then, I left my room to have a meeting with my colleagues. Several hours later, I returned to my room and I found that the hotel-maid had entered my room, despite the sign "Do not disturb", and tidied up my bed. I was horrified because I left my jewelries outside the safe-deposit box. Luckily, all my jewelries were safe. I just wondered, why the hotel-maid ignored the sign "Do not disturb" that I hang on the door-handle outside.
“Great location, ungodly charge for internet access”
Located within a 3-minute walk from the train and bus stations and a 20-minute walk from the center of town. The room and bed were comfortable and the shower was better than most. But 10 euros for 60 minutes online was unreasonable as was the 17 euro 24-hour cost. If you don't need to be online in the room, this is a good place to stay.
“Very nice hotel convenient to train and bus”
I was very pleased with my recent experience at the Park Plaza Utrecht. The staff was both friendly and helpful. Both the lobby and my room were very clean, comfortable and modern. Proximity to the train station was important to me since I was rather tightly scheduled. The hotel was within a 5 minute walk of the central station, which is also a hub for local buses.
“Decent business hotel, but extras are expensive”
The Park Plaza is situated right behind Utrecht's main train station, so the location is relatively convenient. It's on the "wrong" side of the train station, though: away from the scenic town center, Dom tower, and Oudegracht. The staff is courteous and professional, and the rooms are clean. Internet access can be purchased through Swisscom, but it's expensive. Breakfast is quite pricey, so skip it unless it's included in your room rate. You can find better food at a lower price at the train station, or at the Hoog Catharijne (mall attached to the train station). Next time, I'll look for a different hotel on Vredenburg (the "right" side of the train station).
