“Nice place , crummy bed”
The location and property of Arrowhead are very nice. There is no one on property to provide any guidance and our 1st day after long travel was frustrating dealing with building codes and garage codes and parking issues. The units vary wildly as friends had condos on site and comparisons were easily made. WE didn't fare well with our furnishings or beds. Others had beautiful condos. Try to stay in the Alpine lodge for greatest convenience. Once we got the lay of the land on day 2 the place was good.
“Broken Bed, Water Shut off, Late Check in....”
As stated above we were pretty dis-satisfied from the get go. We made do with the conditions we had because we were on vacation. Although upon arriving at our condo we were welcomed with signs that stated "Water will be shut off from 8AM to 4PM on Monday and Tuesday". Which was two days of our trip!!! Once again, we made due with the situation and went skiing those days. Yet, upon returning to our condo my fiance and I decided we wanted to relax in the jacuzzi bath. When running the bath water(after they had turned the water back on) we notice the bath water was tinted with green and brown color!!!! SO DISGUSTING AS A GUEST TO SEE THIS! Needless to say we didn't relax in our bath. On our last day of our stay while we were checking our room for items we may have forgotten to pack, we looked under our master bed and discovered that the bedframe was BROKEN! The wood was split in two!!! Which explains the discomfort we had trying to sleep in the bed! This was the final straw. To break away from my negative comments I will say that the unit was very nice. The decor was a bit, outdated, but all in all the unit was nice. It was very nice having the lift just a walk away from our doorstep. If you are going to stay in this complex I would make sure to ask if any maintenance will be taking place during your stay. And if they put you in unit 310 make sure to check the master bed!!!
“Great location, perfect with a little upgrading.”
We loved this location! We were a quick walk to the lifts, where unlike in Beaver Creek proper, there were NO LIFT LINES EVER! The area served by our lift had several nice blue runs and at least one nice green. We had a two bedroom condo which was roomy and in good condition. The kitchen was under equipped- none of the pots had lids. The electronics were very outdated- VCR's only, NO DVD player! That would be okay, if you could rent VHS, but you can't. The bedding was a little old and the mattresses could be more comfortable. Washer/ dryer was very handy and we liked the layout with the Master Suite upstairs. We rented from Venture Sports in Avon, great folks, half the price of on the mountain, but we had to go back twice for equipment malfunctions.
“Great Condo even better Vaule”
Stayed in March for a 4 day ski vacation. The Arrowhead condos are clean, modern, and had a gas grill for outdoor cooking. The are also BIG - 3 bedrooms with losts of sleeping room plus a washer dryer. The condo as had in door parking with a room/ski locker for your equipment, a nice feature. Check in/key pick up was at the gate house located at the entrance of Beaver Creek. I arrived after 11pm and the receptionist had me on my way in no time. The lifts were about 100 yards away, but the walk was easy. At the base of the mountain/lift you could buy your lift tickets and rent skis if you needed to. Bus transporation was avaialble to take you to the main Beaver Creek
“Lovely mountain retreat”
The penthouse was beautifully maintained, clean and well furnished. Upstairs we had two bunk beds and a master bedroom downstairs+ 3 baths. The village is immaculate and the pool very clean.
“Nice Condos in Beaver Creek”
Great value for well-kept condo option in Beaver Creek!
“Nice but....”
Great room, decent view. However, about 150 feet walk to ski lift and the hot tub was also a similiar hike away.
