“Friendly hotel”
The staff was great. No alcohol sold at the hotel. Breakfast was great. They served hard boiled eggs, fruit, waffles, cereal, ham, grits and yogurt. They also had an outdoor hot tub which closed at 10pm. the location was close to restaurants and the slopes. there was valet parking for free.
“Very good”
Everything was great, from location to service. A bit loud at night as hotel is close to bus stop for vail village, with people hanging out at night. Rather than that (not related to the hotel, after all it is Vail), it was a great stay!
“Just perfect”
Austia Haus is a great hotel with excellent service. If you like small European style hotel you will love this hotel. Very clean, nice furniture in excellent condition, fresh air in addition to its great location.
“One of Vail best”
The service and rooms, some of the best we have stayed in, great place, the breakfast menu was good
“Impressed”
Excellent
“Will be returning”
everything was great at the Austria haus hotel. loved it and the staff! the a/c fan unit was a bit dirty but it was way up high and i didn't have any use for it during my stay
“Charming place to stay”
Charming boutique hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere relaxed and casual. The breakfast buffet was adequate, but the presentation was lacking a little. We wanted a room on the stream side of the property, but were told that those rooms were owner occupied.......all guest rooms were on the pedestrian side of the building, so not much of a view, but still pretty quiet (it was off season). We reserved what was called a Columbine Deluxe Room. We were in a room right above the reception area, next to the elevator. Luckily the elevator was not a problem from a noise perspective. The room was sufficient in size, nicely decorated, and clean. The bathroom will need an update soon and at the very least, more rods for hanging bath towels. The room looked nothing like the online image which must have been a much higher rated room, but still very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again for the resonable price we paid.
“Impressed”
As wrote above, an excellent hotel. No Complaints.
“Vail, Colorado”
Had a perfect time and will be back next year.
“Vail Style Hotel”
The Austria Haus Hotel in Vail was very nice, good decor, very clean, great location. The European style breakfast was excellent. The customer service was mixed. One of the girls at the front desk was very nice, but one of the men was really stuffy and stuck up and did not make us feel welcome at check in. The hot tub didn't work which was a bummer, but the pool was warm enough to swim in at night. Over all we did like the hotel and would stay there again.
