Not Really Ski-In Ski-Out!Posted Feb 4, 2013
THIS IS NOT A SKI-IN SKI-OUT condo as advertised. You have to walk across the street to get to the run. As long as you are okay with that, the condo is great!

Great experiencePosted Jan 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
From check in to check out the customer service was fantastic. Loved the condo that was right on the mountain. Would definitely recommend to friends and will be back.

Excellent accommodations!Posted Jan 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our stay was lovely. The only reason I didn't rate it as an overall 5 was due to the fact that I booked the stay in June. I specifically paid for Snow Cloud property, however no 3 bedroom rooms were available at Snow Cloud when I checked-in. The property management noted that we did reserve Snow Cloud. I'm unsure if this was due to Hotel.com or Beaver Creek's Property Management error. We ended up in a 2 bedroom at Snow Cloud. The Beaver Creek and Snow Cloud personnel were wonderful!

Snow CloudPosted Sep 24, 2012
We stayed in Snow Cloud condominiums. I don't think there was anyone else in the building. But there were people at the Ritz Carleton next door. We had plenty of space and nice accomodations. And the fall colors were superb!

Inconvenient location but gorgeous condoPosted Jul 16, 2012
Pros: The condo was gorgeous and comfortable
Cons: The location
Location: NOT where it shows on Expedia!
I was initially upset because I found out too late that the location of the hotel is NOT where it shows on Expedia. My friend and I were on bicycles, and although the check-in is down in Avon, the condo hotel itself is a couple of miles up the (steep) hill. However, they did have a somewhat convenient shuttle - it got us up the hill but was inconvenient enough we didn't want to rely on it to take us down to town for dinner, so we stayed on the hill that night and had very pricey burgers. There were only 2 restaurants and no grocery stores on the hill. The accommodations, though, were gorgeous. Everything about the condo was top-notch. If I ever go back with a car I would stay there again.

Beautiful condo and spectacular setting although it was a bit difficult to find. Cleanliness was only given 4 stars as one of the towels was dirty.

SnowcloudPosted Jan 31, 2011
The condo was beautiful, nicely decorate, comfortable and the kitchen supplies were well stocked. The ski lockers and garage were heated and extremely convenient, and it was wonderfully staying so close to the Ritz. The only issue was with cleanliness. Given the quality of the condo, we expected the condo to be immaculate and it wasn't. There were large clumps of hair in several of the bathrooms and the master bedroom shower was a bit moldy and doesn't look seem to get cleaned properly. Overall, our stay was fantastic, but for the price should be better cleaned.

Hidden Gem in Bachelor Gulch!Posted Nov 4, 2008
Wow!!! My husband and I just recently returned from staying at Snow Cloud Lodge in Bachelor Gulch (which is near Beaver Creek). A friend of ours had stayed at Snow Cloud when she attended a conference at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch (which is located right next door to Snow Cloud). She kept telling us what a hidden gem Snow Cloud was so we had to see for ourself. The condo we stayed in was very spacious with high end finishes. It was ground level (so you could walk right out to the ski slope) and we sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the sunset along with a glass of wine. Although it was Fall when we went (so no sking!) the view was spectacular and the trees were so beautiful because they were turning gold in color. The staff at Snow Cloud were so friendly, the grounds were impeccable and the underground parking was a nice touch. The lodge itself is not very large, maybe 50 - 60 condos so it was nice to stay in a small, quaint lodge. When we pulled into Snow Cloud and went into the lobby it was very nicely decorated with views of the two outdoor hot tubs and the ski slope. We may very well have to come back during ski season!!
