hotel near village centrePosted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: proximity to the centre.
Cons: get rid of windows from corridor...and install glass dome window on the centre roof for light.
valet parking only (US18). very convenient location. 2 mins walk to centre. King suite creek side has full length windows to the corridor (a bit funny). I needed to close blind all the time and did not fill comfortable sitting in the lounge as you can be seen a bit from outside.

Excellent experiencePosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: There should be a better placement of the bar in the tub and shower.
Location: Its a perfect location. We walked to dinner in 5 minutes, close to shopping, and easy to get to and leave to go home.
We enjoyed everything about the hotel; our hotel rooms, the ambiance of the hotel, the very kind staff, the Sun. brunch. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Spring SkiingPosted Apr 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great location and experience. Only surprise was $36/day parking, but considering the location/valet I got over that.

Beaver Creek/Vail VERY EXPENSIVE during ski season! 12oz bottles of water=$4-5! Really? We felt that we were 'nickel and dimed' quite a bit. Every expense had a 'resort fee' or extra expense added. We took our 10yo daughter tubing at Vail...the Vail site states tix are $38...but they don't mention the need to purchase gondola tix to get to the tubing site...$165 for 3 of us to go tubing for ~4hrs. Beautiful surroundings but be prepared to pay for your good time...

First on the SlopesPosted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Access: Ski shop and rentals on site. Easy lift ticket access Literally, a 2 minute walk (in ski boots) from hotel to lifts.
Cons: New mattress! The room's one downfall was a tired bed.
Location: Was not there long enough to do more than ski/eat/sleep.
Stay was short, but my interactions found staff to be helpful, friendly. Room suite was large and tastefully appointed.
