“Christie Lodge Ideal for Vail & Beaver Creek”

We had a great stay here in the 1 bedroom suite. Loved having the kitchenette and the extra room, since I wake up early. Staff was helpful. Outdoor jacuzzi was a bit crowded, and the outdoor pool was too cool, but there are indoor ones also. And the skiing was great.

“Great Value”

The hotel is well located and offers good value for the price. The rooms appeared to be recently renovated and were very clean. The sitting/eating area was comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a day skiing. The hotel even has a rental shop and good cafe right in it - no need to go anywhere else other than to the ski hill.

Avon is just a couple of miles from Beaver Creek village and ski area and about 8 miles from Vail but a complimentary bus stops right outside the Christie Lodge every 10 minutes to to transport you comfortably and easily. The Hotel itself is contemporary in design with a tiled floor central atrium running through it and 3 floors of rooms on either side. We liked it! It is simple and offers a great base that wont cost a fortune. It's not as posh as the hotels in Beaver Creek but neither are the guests who stay here. Like us most of the guests were looking for something of a more reasonable price but still with all the amenities. The condos are a little compact but have everything you need including a tv in the bedroom as well as the living area. It seems odd at first as you enter the condo through the bedroom, but you soon get used to it and as we were on the 3rd floor we did not get many people walking by our room. The furnishing seems a little old fashioned compared to the style of the rest of the hotel but it was great for what we wanted, somewhere to relax after a day on the slopes. There is a real fire place in the living area but we found the heating made it warm enough. Most of the rooms over look busy roads but it was too cold to sit on our balcony so this was not a problem. There was always a concierge available and the reception staff seemed very helpful. This hotel is not plush, but we felt very comfortable here and would definitely stay again.

“Great ski location.”

The Christie Lodge was a great place for our Spring break. Location is great - close to the slopes of Beaver Creek, Vail, Breckenridge. Rental places and shops are walking distance. Shuttle service is excellent. Rooms are small but we did not spend much time indoors. We went there to ski so the Lodge was perfect for spending the night after an exciting time at the slopes.

“Great hotel”

The check in clerks were extremly helpful and accomidated all our requests. Most importantly they put us in the quitest part of the building which made our whole stay. It was super nice to have and indoor and outdoor pool and many nice hot tubs. All in All I would definatly stay there again. They were very accomidating to our little ones also.

“Very impressed”

Awesome! It wasn't fancy, but it was exactly what we needed to get out of Denver for a couple of ski days. It was really clean and quite big, and even had a little balcony. The Beaver Creek ski shuttle picked us up RIGHT OUTSIDE of the door and couldn't have been more convenient. We are definitley going back in a couple of months!

“WOULD STAY AGAIN”

The rooms are very comfortable and well furnished for a weekend stay.City Market is within walking distance and kitchen utensisls needed for microwaveable meals are available.There is also an electric skillet,coffee maker,small refrigerator and diswasher in the kitchen area.The pool and hot tub areas are well maintained and I found the staff to be friendly and helpfull.

“Excellent lodging in a wonderful location, close to the slopes!”

We really enjoyed our stay at The Christie Lodge and look forward to returning as soon as possible. The room was clean and the hotel had wonderful facilities including 2 clean hot tubs, an indoor pool, ping-pong tables, and very good hours to use the facilities. We were very pleased.

“good bang for the buck”

A good place to stay for those on a budget. I was there to do some skiing in Vail. The hot tubs were nice to come back to especially after spending all day on the slopes. The microwave and tv all worked well. The hotel is only ten minutes from vail.
