“Just what I expected”

Convinient, Simple, great in general and exactly what i expected.....the only area of improvement could be the breakfast area which was often overcrowded in the mornings.

We stayed in this hotel to escape the high priced lodging in Vail. The hotel is only a 10 minute drive to Vail. The hotel was clean and all staff was friendly. Our room was at the end of the hall so unfortunately, my wireless internet did not work. The breakfast was good in the morning prior to hitting the slopes.

I did not go to this beautiful American gem for pleasure, so, I spent a lot of time in the room and that made the comfort of the facilities that more important. I took full advantage of the continental breakfast (the oranges were excellent), I utilized the lobby computers daily, and the front desk staff were very knowledgeable about the area and were most helpful. They made a difficult time more pleasant and had everything I needed to succeed. The computers did run very slowly on my last day there, but the Avon Library is a short walk away.

I primarily stay at the 4 or 5 star lodges, however I am a frequent traveler to Vail so sometimes when I just need somewhere to rest after a long day on the mountain the Comfort Inn is comfortable and in a perfect location. When staying there and need a little extras there are plenty of places to go and hang out, Vail, Beaver Creek, Edwards, and recently the improvement of Avon.
