“Great value/comfortable and relaxing”

Although the lodge is a little older, it is in an excellent location and just what we were looking for. The rooms were clean and comfortable and staff was very helpful with our questions about local restaurants and shopping. We had an excellent meal in the sports bar. I can imagine the crowds they must get during football season. The pools, spa, game room, patio area, - all offer comfort, relaxation, and entertainment at a very reasonable price (our off-season rates were especially attractive). The only reason the hotel didn't get all 5's on my rating is that it is a little dated in some of its decor and shows a little wear in places. None of this would deter me from going back and feeling it was a great choice.

“Would definitely stay there again”

The hotel was very accomodating, loved the sports bar, good food, and in the heart of Vail. Shuttle bus right out the back door every 10-15 minues to take you to the village for shopping, etc.

“Very good for price”

When my co-workers heard that I was staying in Vail on a business trip, they naturally assumed I was going to spend a ton of money. However, the Evergreen Lodge was surprisingly affordable and very comfortable. Nice room, big hot tub, free wireless internet in lobby and free use of plugged internet in room. I highly recommend it!

“Great Place for Great Price in Vail”

Although I am not sure if I would send anyone to Vail the last week of Aug as the place was absolutely dead the hotel was great. Room was large, clean, and updated. There was a great big bar with pool tables and many tv's to watch games on and a big hot tub could be found down near the pool as well.

“Very Nice”

We stayed in the offseason on our way to Boulder so the rate was very reasonable. The room was very nice and the hotel was clean and in goood shape. There is no air conditioning so they provide a box fan in the room. Ours was broken but replaced quickly. It is convinient to both Vail Village and Lionhead but not within walking distance. Beautiful settind all around.

“Great ski hotel”

Hotel was perfect for our family of four (dad, mom, and 2 college-aged kids). It is reasonable priced and the shuttle for Vail is quite convenient, being just a short walk out the back door. We were pleasantly surprised with the large room near the front door to store skis, snowboards, and boots. It has a secure access using your hotel card key. There was also a mini-fridge in the room, which was convenient. Nice fireplace in the lobby. No complaints. Will definitely stay here again. Parking is tight and if you need to park more than one car for your hotel room, there is a charge.

“Don't stay there in the summer”

Hotel was clean the beds were comfortable. But the room was very very HOT. No air-condition we slept with the window open and heard all the trafic on the interstate.
