“Not Impressed”

Check in took forever, and while checking in several hotel employees were gathered around speaking another language and giggling which was very unprofessional! Needs a face lift and to be cleaned a little better. Bathroom way too small.

“descent stay”

If you're staying less than a week there is no maid service. Have foto to the front desk and ask for towels every day. Not the worst but, just inconvenient sometimes. Overall, close to ski areas and kitchen in room can help save money. Supermarket is five minutes away.

“Eagle visit”

Overall the stay was ok. The continental breakfast was meager at best...not many selections to eat. The bed was not that comfortable (king) and the pillows were so flat that they barely held your head up. Probably would not stay there next time.

“OK motel”

Refrig and stove top were nice to have. No pool or hotub were negatives. Price seems high relative to quality

“Nice place to stay”

It was nice to have a small kitchen. After each out every night, it was a nice change to cook a light dinner and relax in our room. The hotel is currently being renovated. For the money, it was a nice place to stay

“Priced too high!”

It is a cute hotel but the bed was flat and hard. The price was too high for the room.

“Just because I have a pet, I am a guest as well”

Hotel clerk was very nice and helpful. The king suite turned into a queen suite. The bed saged in the middle,we kept rolling together. The free wifi was very week in our room, my kindle had a hard time connecting but the lap top did not have as much. Spilled some water on the floor and when I cleaned it up with a towel the floor was cleaner then when we got to the room. Who checks to make sure the maids are doing their work? it is no wonder the place was not filled up on a friday night of a holiday weekend. Just because we travel with a pet does not mean that we need to have sub-par accomodations for the money that we spend. I have stayed in nicer and cleaner places for less than what I paid there.

“"Disappointed In the Accomodations"”

The hallway next to the door of our room had the dirty sheets of the previous guests on the floor which was there the next morning.. We had to ask for a second set of towels from the front desk. There was only one bar of soap as well. The top sheet on one bed was not tucked in. The room was hastily "cleaned"? Maybe it was because the hotel changed their name to "Hawthorn" unbeknown to Expedia and it was taken over by a new hotel or staff?

“Has potential...at least it is clean!”

The hotel is adequate. The rooms are small but clean. The breakfast Was horrendous. The web site talked about waffles , pancakes, and eggs. We got stale croissants. They are renovating and possibly will have a real breakfast when they are done, but otherwise, plan on buying breakfast elsewhere or filling your room fridge with breakfast items. Also, this hotel is on the far side of Eagle, 30 miles from Vail. If you are planning on skiing, you still have a bit of a drive. Parking is free. They do allow pets, but during renovation, their pet rooms are their smoking rooms.
