“200 yards uphill from Park Hyatt”
This condo with ski-in-out is 200 yards uphill from the Park Hyatt. Probably 200ft vertically higher. There is a shuttle van service for Beaver Creek to take you anywhere, including your skis, and you will need to take it unless you hoofing about mountain. Driving is limited and parking fees are high, so use the shuttle. Hyatt spa is used via pass, but you cannot easily walk in a robe to the pools/tubs of Hyatt, you will need to get properly dressed and take the shuttle to the lobby with your gym bag and swimsuit and then get dried up for return. Then again you could walk sidewalks, cross a foot bridge and ski slope to Hyatt, if you like. In terms of condo, we had a recently renovated condo which was laden with unusually lux marble bathrooms and fancy wood fireplace and sitting balcony with views. Other condos might not be the same and the common areas are not fancy like at the Ritz. There is also no scene at this complex. For that go to the Park Hyatt with a slick new bar and restaurant called "8100". 8100 also has a vast new apre ski deck with outdoor fire pits and heaters. The best and most fancy place at BeaverCreek is the Ritz for rustic stone chalet ambience and it seems a competitor to the Stein in Utah. Bottom line is this place offers a lot of quality living space, underground parking and proximity to the action at a better price than the two top places. Beaver Creek is all relatively new, so hard to go wrong here.
