Smoke alarm from a heater?Posted Oct 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Double queen room was very cramped. Room was cold upon arrival. Turned on the hear and a burning dust smell occured which proceeded to set of the smoke alarm. For over $ 100 I'd pribably not return.

Met Holiday Inn Express StandardsPosted Sep 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a pretty typical Holiday Inn Express hotel. Desk service was a little slow for check in, but otherwise service was right on. Our room faced the interstate, but you wouldn't have known it since we didn't hear any road noise during the night. The in-room heater & A/C unit was not obnoxiously loud like many others we've experienced. It actually provided just the right amount of white noise to get to sleep. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was clean. Only issue we had was the bathroom vent wasn't working so it took a while for the mirrors to clear (we helped with the hairdryer). Price was very reasonable for the area and the breakfast was ample.

Staff very friendly and helpful. I felt as though I was staying at a bed and breakfast place instead of hotel.

It's good because the room is spacious, clean and service is good. Pity that it's a bit on the warm side for a night in the fall before winter.
