Great value!

Stayed in a Pet Friendly room and it was very clean. The room was slightly dated with popcorn ceilings. The TV was a flat screen but it was smallish. The bedding was great! The bathroom was nice. The pool and jacuzzi were nice as well. Had Sushi at the hotel restaurant and it was of good quality.

Hotel located within walking distance of stores.

Pros: Convenience to I-70, Vail Village, etc.
Cons: Parking availability other than Valet Parking.
Loved the opportunity to take the shuttle bus into Vail Village. Also, the hotel is within walking distance of grocery store Safeway, McDonalds, Subway, and other businesses.

Perfect accommodations for a weekend ski trip

Posted Mar 17, 2015 on Hotels
The Holiday Inn Apex Vail is the perfect place to crash while skiing/snowboarding at Vail. Shuttles run every 30 minutes to and from the Mountain making stops at both Lionshead and Vail Village. Couldn't have imagined a better way to relax after skiing all day than getting in the hot tub or heated out door pool. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We comfortable fit 4 people in a room with 2 beds. I'd definitely stay there again.

Overpriced.

Great location. Overpriced for fairly outdated hotel. Required valet parking for 25.00 a night is ridiculous. There is a parking lot located adjacent to hotel and valet is a rip off.

OK

Hotel is a bit run down. Hot tub was not really hot. Room smelled musty. $25 for valet parking is the only option. Shuttle bus to Vail shuts down at 8:00 so getting back is a challenge if you go out and don't want to drive. Only real plus is the price is reasonable for Vail.

Holiday Inn rocks!

Posted Feb 24, 2015 on Hotels
Wow, this is the best Holiday Inn ever. Room and beds were comfortable. And the outdoor heated pool is the best place to hang after a day on the slopes. Only thing was the hot tub needs better jets, but it is hot!
