“Holiday Inn - Vail Style”

I love the free shuttle to Vail Ski Resort is right there. It saves money for parking at Vail on the weekdays and is very reasonable to be right there across from our favorite powder mountain. It's walking distance to good chinese and a grocery store. It also has its own restaurants which we haven't tried yet. There are common area microwaves available which makes bringing our own food easy so we can save money on food when we need.

“Fine Hotel, Would Stay There Again”

Nice, clean hotel at a reasonable rate, especially for the area. Didn't have tons of extras or extravegances, but it was a "mancation" with myself, my 13 year old son and his 14 year old best friend, so we didn't care so much about fresh cut flowers or 5000 thread-count sheets. We all enjoyed our stay with no complaints whatsoever.

“Decent place to stay”

The hotel is just fine. Clean, well maintained and very friendly staff. Good location close to shopping, etc. We had excellent lunch and dinner at the sports bar of the hotel. Make sure you sit on the patio and enjoy the great view! Very reasonable price to stay in and enjoy being in the mountains!

“Good, friendly service”

The room was perfectly fine. There is a nice comfortable lobby with fireplace. The on-premises dining options were very good. And, during a very busy vacation week, the staff, from front desk to maintenance, was unfailingly polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

“holiday inn”

we decided last minute to drive to vail and ski for five nights. the condo prices seemed rather high and we have seen the Holiday Inn for years in west vail. I checked the price and it was almost half of a condo per night. We decided to give it a go and could not have been more pleased. The location is great and the shuttle runs every half hour so there is no need to pay for parking at the slopes,. The Lobby was very comfy. big leather couches and fireplace, where one afternoon I stayed back and read in the afternoon drinking the free coffee they also offered. We did not use pool or hottub and did not even look at them. Room had microwave and a mini frig. we would stay again.

“More than worth it!”

We loved this hotel and would stay there again! There were 3 AWESOME restaurants attached to the hotel (ask for Claude at the Westside Cafe). The shuttle bus made it convenient to get to the slopes and being able to rent skis in the hotel lobby was convenient too. If you want the latest state-of-the-art equipment, though, you won't get it here. That did not matter to us. Our children actually swam in the outdoor pool (it was heated but still too cool for us). The indoor hot tub was nice, but be careful getting in....a number of people fell in (including us) because of the design and not using the ladder (most hot tubs have steps, don't they?). On site laundry was convenient as it's hard to pack enough long underwear, etc. for a whole week of skiing. Sometimes there were fresh baked cookies at the front desk when we came back from skiing! All in all, very friendly staff, great location and amenities. Our only complaint was rude behavior by other guests on the shuttle bus. It gets very crowded on the 4 p.m. run after skiing, and people pushed past us to get on the bus before us and got mad if we saved a seat for our young children (we stood but wanted the kids seated). Despite this, we had a great week and would go back again.
