“Great Location along the river and shops.”
We had a great stay. Freedom Park is close by to walk to so the kids can play. Next to a lot of restaurants and shops. Pool was also nice for the kids to splash around in.
“would go back”
A very friendly staff,clean rooms,near a great restaurant,near a great bike path. This is our 2nd stay . We would definetly make a 3rd stay>
“Great Service”
The front desk staff was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. The room was very comfortable and included a delicious breakfast. The lobby restaurant provided a comfortable place for convenient meals with live entertainment on Saturday night. Two thumbs up!
“Very good at a good price.”
Clean, comfortable, very good services, great breackfast (please add some fruit), close to Yellowstone Park.
“Not Impressed”
This location was great for one night while getting our snowboard instructor daughter settled in Avon. Room was clean with nice bedding. Downside was noise from the bar downstairs and the street. We had to move our car on the street by 9 AM. Hallway smelled of cigarette smoke.
“A fair price, a great neighborhood”
We stayed at the Inn at Riverwelk over the Fourth of July Weekend. The Inn is an independent hotel in the Riverwalk development (shopping, dinning condominiums, office) in Edwards, about 15 miles west of Vail. It's very close to Arrowhead and Beaver Creek, and generally has excellent access to the whole of the Vail valley. Riverwalk has excellent restaurants and a grocery store, so you have everything at hand for a nice long weekend in the mountains. Our room was adequately sized, had a small window and a wall-unit air conditioner, and a finish level you may find similar to a business-travel flag such as Hilton Garden or Marriott Courtyard. It is clean and well maintained. Aside from our initial encounter with a terse diffident front-desk guy (who, to be fair, was covering the desk between checkout and checkin time, so probably wasn't the hotel's King of Personality), service was attentive and helpful. Amenities included a modest breakfast buffet (just like a Hampton) and a small outdoor pool. Coin-op laundry is also available. There's a western-lodgy common room on the first floor with free wi-fi (there was wired internet in the rooms, accessible only on the nightstand and not at the small table) and parking was plentiful. We will stay at the Inn at Riverwalk again. We found the rates quite fair relative to what we got - a clean, nicely-appointed, excellently located base of operations for a long weekend in the mountains.
“Sounds nicer than it is”
In desparate need of upgrades. Starting with the carpet & sheets and then to the towels - I felt like I was at sleep away camp. All the towels had black marker initials on them - weird. Location is great but the free shuttle bus stops in front every 45 minutes to take the drunks home & it is impossible to sleep if your room is in the front
“low quality for a high price”
This property has a 'Motel-like feel'. It smells musty and my pillow smelled so strongly of smoke that it gave me a headache. Apparently, the entire valley, thus the hotel, is 'non-smoking', but of course that doesn't keep people from smoking in the rooms. Still, it would be nice if they ran their pillows through a drier fluff cycle with some sort of odor neutralizing scent. The location is excellent, but we could have stayed at a much nicer property for only $30 more, so this property is not a worth the $/night we paid (which wa less than the normal 'rack rate'.) It would be nice for a family that wants to walk to eateries, etc.
“A good hotel in a central location”
This hotel was just fine as a place to sleep and get ready for the day. The breakfast was very lacking but the pool was nice and the proximity to the river made for an easy way to relax. Good restaurants and quaint shops near by makes this a deal so near Vail, Beaver Creek and Summit County.
“Riverwalk Hotel”
Beautiful hotel. Loved the shops and riverwalk.
