Great Slopeside StayPosted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Great facilities although room is a little dated but comfortable and clean.
Cons: Better mattresses!
Location: The hotel is at the base of the slopes, right next to gondola - PERFECT! Lots of shops and restaurants around for shopping and dining.
Great stay! We had a standard hotel room with two queen beds (a bit lumpy) but the bathroom seemed recently renovated and clean. We only needed a room to sleep in so, it suited us perfectly. This section will probably be renovated in future, I believe, as work is clearly being done to other parts of the hotel. The staff was wonderful, coffee, tea, hot apple cider and cookies available all the time at front desk. Awesome hot tubs facing the mountain that we used daily and even the pool was open for a quick lap to cool off. We tried the dry sauna as well and that was great! All in all a great place to stay with a clean room, table, chairs, balcony, microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room.

Excellent hotel next to the slopesPosted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: Excellent location, very friendly staff. Located in downtown Lionshead, right next to the Gondola, This is the closest you can be to the slopes.
Cons: Next time I would choose a little bit bigger room.
Location: Excellent dining from very casual to elegant, perfect skiing
We had a ski vacation over presidents day week-end, 2 parents, 2 children (7,9). Hotel staff was very friendly and was genuinely interested to make our stay as pleasant as possible. This includes the ski valet, room cleaning and front desk. Hot tub and swimming pool are clean and convenient to use.

Not that impressedPosted Oct 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Was disappointed when arriving to room as I reserved a king room I was presented with two queens. There was a lot of construction noise going on as the outside was being resurfaced and remodeled and the parking was limited so it was hard to find a space. Room was OK, but for the price I expect more.

Beautiful locationPosted Oct 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a nice time. Pool and jacuzzi were awesome. Enjoyed having hot tea before bedtime. Our room was a little warm...opened a window. Cleaning service was perfect. Persons at front desk were very friendly. People working in restaurant were very friendly as well.

Costly, but hey... it's VailPosted Oct 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Got stuck with a 2 double beds for my wife and I, so I was jammed against a wall when I got out of bed. Otherwise, no complaints. No breakfast, but coffee, cookies, and Nature Valley bars were available around the clock. I got the room with a big discount thanks to Hotels.com. Very nice location, especially if you're skiing since hotel is right next to Eagle's Nest gondola. We weren't blown away, but I can't really complain... even though it seems like I am. :-)
