Pros: Great bar with lovely music, tastefully decorated room.
Cons: The breakfast area is very conference room like. Not sure how to make it more intimate, but brights lights and buffet didn't have much atmosphere.

Great place to stay although

Posted Jan 1, 2014
Pros Great location Service excellent Next to kids ski school and day care Good food at free breakfast Awesome room; quality finishes and thoughtful design However I can only attest to the recently renovated room. There is an older section that seems a bit dated and could use a refresh Con: getting to the hotel lobby and restaurant from your room is a bit convoluted and strange You may have to walk a bit through the halls hoppin on the elevator/ stairs to get on the floor that has a skywalk to cross over to next building

Thank you for your honest feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your room accommodations and our location to ski school and the mountain. However, we do apologize that you were not pleased with the entirety of our property. We are one of the first properties built in the area and we understand that it can at times be difficult to navigate. With that being said, we will be taking your feedback into great consideration to better improve our signage. Thank you again for your feedback, we truly appreciate knowing about our guests experiences.

Great family spot

Loved our two bedroom condo. Very high-end… granite and tile everywhere, wood beams in the ceilings, beautiful cabinetry, Calphalon cookware, plenty of utensils, everything was very nice. Would definitely return. Right across the street from kids and adult ski school and chair lifts as well as Vail Playschool (daycare). Perfect location for families with preschool aged children.

Review from a returning customer

Pros: The hotel is located within 200-feet of the Riva Bahn Express Lift. This lift accesses the best parts of Vail Mountain and is never crowded.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Manor Vail sits on the east edge of town. It's a little more private and quiet there, but the shops and stores are only a few minute walk away.
This is my second stay at Manor Vail in two seasons. I chose to return to Manor Vail because it is the best value in town. While Manor Vail is comparable in price to other resorts in the area, it stands out because of it's location to the lifts (about 200-feet away) and its easily accessible ski lockers. All of the grounds and facilities have been recently updated and the hotel sits on the edge of town. It's a little less noisy at night than the in-town hotels. Also, my package included free breakfast. This may not sound like a big deal, but paying $20 to $30 for a breakfast bar every morning at competing hotel adds up to a lot of money during your stay.

No hair dryer or coffeemaker

Posted Oct 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Although my confirmation said that there was a coffeemaker in the room as part of the amenities, there was not. When I asked about it at the front desk I was told that my room did not come with a coffeemaker. Other members of the conference I was with had a coffeemaker. It made me feel that I was in the lower class part of the hotel. Also, my room did not come with a hair dryer. I asked for one at the front desk and was told that it would be delivered to the room. It never was. The hotel is shabby in places.

Thank you for your feedback from your recent stay. We do supply complimentary coffee and maker in every unit in the kitchen area near the sink. If for any reason this coffeemaker is missing guests can call the front desk to have one brought to their room. I apologize for the hair dryer and any other additional setbacks you encountered during your stay. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about it. I know that does not change your experience but I hope that you can feel confident that we heard your concern and are definitely doing something about it. Sincerely, Nicole M. Guest Relations Manager
