Nice lodge easy walking distance to ski lifts

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: It had a very friendly atmosphere.
Cons: They stopped serving hot chocolate at 5 & since it was late Spring, the lifts were open till 5, so, we often missed the afternoon snacks.
Location: Well, skiing of course. Hotel restaurant and restaurants at Golden Peak. It's a short walk to get into Vail Village proper.
This lodge is an older property that is very well maintained. Our room had updated counters and appliances, and, was very comfortable for our party. The pools and hot tubs were very appreciated after our long ski days. The included breakfast was very nice and saved us a lot of time each morning. All the staff from the front desk, waiters, to the cleaning staff were always polite and efficient.

Clean, warm and close to the lifts.

Posted Feb 1, 2015
Manor Vale is not a new Lodge, but is maintained well to keep up with the times. It's clean, warm to your own liking, staff are friendly and helpful. Ski lockers are at the end of the passageway to your room, the walk across to Gold Peak lift is 5mins max, and this chair is the least crowded of all the base chairs. The Grand Hall at the base is convenient for meeting people, and if you've forgotten something it's only a short walk back to the room. Recommend to all!!

Thank you for your feedback! We are proud to be one of the original hotels in Vail with a lot of rich history. Many of our guests consider Manor Vail Lodge their home away from home. Conveniently located directly across the street from the Chair 6 lift certainly has its advantages as you mentioned. Thank you again for recommending Manor Vail Lodge. Not only do we appreciate your feedback but so will other travelers. We look forward to seeing you again on your future visit to Vail. Sincerely, Nicole Martin Guest Relations Manager

Great Ski Accommodations!

Posted Jan 23, 2015 on Hotels.com
The Manor Vail was an amazing place to spend our ski getaway. The Golden Peak chair lifts are across the street, which makes it a breeze to get on the mountain in the morning. Breakfast at the hotel was great, and post-ski hot tub was on point! The rooms were very spacious and had upgraded appliances, as well as everything you would need for a long stay in an apartment-style room. There were a lot of families on the premises, but that was to be expected with the type of accommodations. Overall, extremely happy with the hotel and location!

Marvelous Manor Mountain Getaway

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: everything !! :):)
Cons: Price could be lower
Location: heart of Vail, very convenient location within walking distance to everything you would need. Not to mention the mountain is within a skip & jump.
Sitting in the heart of Vail, surrounded by mountains & beautiful scenic views our stay at Manor Vail was awesome to say the least ! Top notch amenities, spacious rooms, cozy fireplace, & outstanding delicious FREE breakfast just to name a few of my thoughts about this place. Everyone there from the front desk clerks to the server who helped out in the morning breakfast was friendly & very helpful. The only draw back if I had to pick was the price per night was spendy $$$$. Other than that its a short walk into the village & would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is not afraid to go all out for a place to rest their head at night. Will go back no doubt but this time would stay a little longer !!

Returning customer for the last four ski seasons

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: Vail is very expensive, so the free breakfast buffet was great. The resort is located near the Golden Peaks lift that is never crowded.
Cons: Nothing. Manor Vail has met all my expectations
Location: The Golden Peak chairlift and the in-town bus stop are directly across the street, an easy walk to and from the hotel. This lift is never crowded.
I've skied Vail for the past 17-years. On my last four visits, I stayed at Manor Vail. Immediately after I booked my trip, they called me asking if I had any special requests. When I arrived, the staff was there to take my bags. Every morning I was treated to a free breakfast buffet. The buffet had everything, including made to order omelets. I enjoyed the short walk to the ski lift directly across the street. When I returned at the end of the day, my room was always clean. My room had a small kitchen and outdoor grill. I was able to cook and avoid paying for overpriced food at the local restaurants. The shopping district was just a short walk away, but I had the option to catch the in-town bus that stopped directly across the street. I've stayed at many resorts at Vail. Many of them were significantly more expensive than Manor Vail. None of those resorts provided me with the value, and service that Manor Vail provided. I will continue to stay here on my future visits to Vail each winter.
