“Great Location, Great Service, Value in the Vail Valley”

If you are looking a very nice hotel in a great lcoation that isn't top dollar, Montaneros is the place to go.

Excellent location; 200 ft from couple of lifts; nice view of the slopes; friendly staff; you got everything you need at walking distance. I will recommended 100%.

“A very relaxing time away....”

My wife and I were very pleased with the great service we recieved by the Monteneros staff. There was a snafu with our reservation, (don't know if it was Expedia or the condo), the desk manager was extremely and profusely sorry. He gave us a room upgrade to the 2 bedroom unit and had things worked out in a short time. The condo itself was very spacious and very well appointed, (we love the big fireplace). We'll definitely return to Monteneros when we go back to Vail!

We could have not asked for any better. The rooms were really clean. The condo was very well equipped with anything you might need from cups and plates to an awesome Weber grill. Staff was extremely helpful and always ready to assist you. We'll definitely come back to Montaneros!!!

“Great value and service in an excellent location.”

I recently stayed at Montaneros Condominiums with my husband and our 12 year old son. We started out in a one bedroom condo which was clean, comfortable and very nicely furnished. Unfortunately, I fell on the ice and broke my arm on our first day skiing, so when I got out of the hospital, we requested a larger room. They were able to move us into a one bedroom with a loft for a small additional charge. That made it easier for us as I needed to be able to hang out in the living room with my icing machine for much of the day. The staff, and particularly the concierge, Div, could not have been nicer or more helpful. He found me two local women who were able to trade off helping me out -- getting to PT and buying me lunch -- so that my husband and son could go ski. The second condo had a particularly nice view of the mountain and was also very comfortable and well appointed. My husband and son did use the hot tub (obviously, I was not allowed to) and said that it was really nice. The location is excellent -- right by the bus stop, and also very near to restaurants and to the gondola. I highly recommend.

“Watch out for low cost due to construction next door”

When we got to our home, which was beautiful, we opened the blinds and saw the huge construction site right next to the building. There was no view and there were rooms on the other side that would have provided better views. The trucks started moving around 6:00am and the construction noise was full force before too long. Fortunately we were just staying overnight and left by 9:00am. I would have asked for a refund if we were staying longer.
