Excellent Hotel. Great Deal.

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: The convenience, location, features and price.
Cons: The receptionist was a bit rude. It would do them a whole lot of good, if they replaced him with someone pleasant.
Location: Sweet location. Lots of things to do nearby. Its pretty close to all the major ski lifts, shopping villages and convenience stores.
The villas are just amazing. They had great views and were fully equipped for 3 plus people.

Great Hotel in Beaver Creek

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: 7th floor fitness area has nice views, sauna and steam room great after a hard day on the mountain, great roof top Hot Tubs and fitness equipment.
Cons: Can get hot in the summer, no ac in the rooms. Couches are small and uncomfortable to sit or sleep on.
Location: Great food tons of outdoor activities
Overall it was a great experience once again, we always stay here with family and friends. Could use up-date on sofas. They have great amenities in and out. We made s'mores by the pool side and watched the sunsets in the hot tub c: would like to see lower rates for winter stays.

Better than in Vail

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Almost everything.
Cons: Check out time was too early. Bath soap seemed unusually small - especially for an upscale hotel.
Location: Park, biking trail along river, library, rec center, nice restaurants
This was an excellent hotel in almost every way. It had a great location with many amenities while being affordable for a special occasion. My only problem with it was that they seemed to be trying to push you out early in the morning compared to most places (10am).

pleasant stay

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Nice Room Decor, good wifi, large bathroom, pleasant dining table, 2 flat screens with cable.
Cons: 8th floor game room is a bust. Everything requires quarters. Should have some free items like ping pong, billiards and darts
Location: Decent location. Walk-able to some decent eateries like Loaded Joes and Montana's
We had a 1 bed/1 bath apartment which was comfortable for the 3 of us due to the pull out couch. Don't expect outstanding views from this property, more like pleasing. The kitchen we had did not include a stovetop, so plan meals accordingly, your not going to be making flapjacks or fried eggs. With a little ingenuity, we got by with the large microwave and supplied pots and dishes to cook what we needed. We became experts at poaching eggs in the microwave see youtube if you don't know this trick. The smores kit at seven dol is a rip. Go to the nearby Walgreens and get fresher stuff for less.

Nice room and very well appointed. Handy location

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: The size of the rooms and the outdoor pool.
Cons: I would have liked an indoor pool too. The 'market' store wasn't open when we wanted a soda so we had to use the vending machines on the 7th foor.
Location: The location is very handy and centrally located in Avon, CO. Easy walking access to restaurants and the river.
We stayed for two nights. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. The kitchen had everything you would need. The size of the rooms were great and the outside balcony was nice.

First Anniversary

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Well kept and spacious.
Cons: Needs air conditioning!!!!
Overall a very nice hotel. The one bedroom suite was spacious and clean. The advertisement showed a large jetted tub in the room, but the room itself had a fairly small (and short) jetted tub in the bathroom. The kitchen and living room were very nice. We were disappointed the fire place had been disabled during the summer months. The BBQ on the deck was a nice feature - had we arrived earlier and/or been staying longer we probably would have used this. There was an advertisement in the elevator boasting a " 42' " television in the lounge/game room. We were looking forward to a movie theater type atmosphere there. Not so much, there was maybe a 55" screen on the wall. There is no air conditioning available in the rooms and even though it was quite cool outside (into the 40's overnight) the suite was very warm, and the highway noise outside prevented us from keeping the window or deck door open. Ample on site parking, nice hot tub areas on the 7th floor and nice workout facility. Staff on both check in and check out were very friendly.
