Pretty good!Posted Oct 26, 2013
Location: 5 minute walk to center and ski lifts.
We stayed here in the off-season (Oct 12) for one night. It appeared that we were the only guests. Room was fairly small but clean and comfortable. Restaurant and bar was closed. Pool facilities are very nice. Hotel is huge and bit confusing to get around.

Favorite Mountain Vacation by Far!Posted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
My boyfriend and I went up for our second time now and had a great time. Our reservation for a king bed got switched with two queens so to make up for it they gave us a condo suite, best room ever! The hotel was beautiful and just a short walk to beaver creek village.

Hotel is decent, but apparently in need of maintenance. Our room was on same floor as laundry where they had a water pipe burst late on Sunday afternoon. This did not directly impact us, but was to become indicative of the overall condition of the property. About 4:00 AM Monday morning a smoke dectector started to "chirp" about every 30 seconds...no more sleep. Got up and showered and went to brew a cup of coffee only to find the filter basket was missing. Informed the front desk who said housekeeping would immediately bring us a new coffee maker....it never came. Check out about 8:30 and went to Starbucks. Probably would not stay here again even though it is a very convenient location.

70's stylePosted Jul 29, 2013
Pros: Grounds and pool area
Cons: Major room and furnishings upgrade needed.
For Beaver Creek, was very disappointed with this stay. 1)The beds are seriously outdated - way too soft- like trying to sleep on an overstuffed comforter resulting in rolling to edge of bed. Only hotel bed on trip that gave me a back ache. 2)Inspite of outdoor overnight temps in the 50's, the room was unbearably hot making sleep almost impossible. Rooms don't have A/C. Room was even on ground floor. 3)Lodge room was exceptionally small and the rooms are long overdue for a major upgrade. I will not stay here again. lovely grounds.

beautiful locationPosted Jul 22, 2013
Cons: room comfort- much too warm
the beaver creek village is gorgeous. this hotel is nice, but not quite as nice as others in the area. we arrived at the hotel late at night and left early in the morning. the room was abnormally warm. a fan was located in the room but the air was not on. of course, in beaver creek you could just open the windows. i recommend staying on the 4th floor, anything below that you won't get much of a view.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the room is because the thermostat wouldn't go as low as we wanted. It wasn't broken though.

It was a peaceful stay. Staff was not friendly though.

Great hotel/condo in Colorado mountainsPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: The hotel room was small, but OK. The hotel staff made it very reasonable to move up to nicer accommodations.
Location: This is a beautiful mountain location away from the larger crowds of Vail. All mountain activities are readily available.
The accommodations we reserved turned out to be a small hotel room. The outstanding front desk staff checked with reservations and were able to let us more to a one bedroom condo unit for only $39 more per night. The condo unit was excellent. Beaver Creek is a wonderful more secluded mountain resort, and it was a great headquarters for our playing golf from there to Breckenridge and Keystone.
