beautiful mountain retreat

Posted Jul 23, 2015
this hotel is very comfortable and easy to rest there. I really have not much more to say but some one in charge of this decided I needed 50 words. (bad call, fool)

Highly recommend but staff performs under par

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: Location, not close to the action, but extremely peaceful
Cons: Staff performs under par. No breakfast available and an alternate is a 20 minutes drive.
Location: Secluded and peaceful. Edwards is closest town with plenty food options. Vail is a 30 minute drive.
Incredible views from this property and it comes highly recommended . The rooms, amenities and location are all fantastic. The staff should definitely step it up to make this a 5-star experience. They were mediocre at best. They were not familiar with the expedia VIP hotel listing and it was a 30 minutes battle to get them to offer the perks Expedia is offering if you book a VIP hotel. This is NOT something you expect from this level hotel. Bad introduction to an otherwise great stay in beautiful Edwards CO

Bring a Book.... Or a charged up iPad

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Kitchen Management
Everything was EXCELLENT except the time it took to get served in the restaurant.... Seriously, 2 hours after you'd ordered - And NO! It wasn't even busy!!!! The food was excellent, but they had to send out to Europe for it while you waited.

great views- not a lot of night life

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: beautiful, quiet
Cons: few more restaurant selections
Location: don't go horse back riding at Bear cat stables
hotel was great; wished there were a few more shops or small restaurants a little too secluded

We appreciate you letting us know about your time at The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera. It’s wonderful to learn that our lodge met your expectations. While Edwards, Colorado is primarily known for its outdoor activities and spa retreats, there are plenty of shopping and dining options available. Did find a spider in the bed... also the phone/keurig did not work (likely due to the outlet). For the amount we paid, you would have thought they would have updated TVs in the rooms.

Your feedback on your recent stay is truly appreciated. While we’re happy that your stay was generally satisfying, we do regret that you encountered a few challenges during your time with us. We want our guests to take in the great Vail Valley outdoors and the many activities our lodge has to offer, but upgrading our televisions is something we will definitely take into consideration. Should you return to the beautiful Edwards, Colorado area, we hope that you will join us again.

Beautiful location in the mountains!

Posted May 3, 2015
This is a lovely older hotel. Our fireplace room/suite was spacious and nicely decorated. The fitness room and spa was excellent. The only issue with this hotel is the deferred maintenance - I was surprised to see the worn woodwork (hotel room, hallways and restaurant), chipped paint (room and pool area) and dingy carpets (hallways). The restaurant is nice, but the menu selection is small.

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: Beautiful view!!! WAY off the beaten path and therefore very quiet! Beautiful pools and facilities, amazing high class restaurant!
Location: It is worth the extra couple of miles to drive to the top of the hill where this is located- worth every penny!
BEST place to stay for a romantic getaway!!! You feel like you are in the swiss alps!

Cons: dated in many areas.
the lodge is very nice but is due for some upgrades. Carpet in the hallways and appointments in the rooms need professional help.

Cons: DARLE MAS MANTENIMIENTO, DE PINTURA. LOS ELEVADORES MODERNIZARLOS, CAMBIAR ALFOMBRAS
Location: UN POCO LEJOS DE VAIL PERO CERCA DE BEAVER CREEK LUGAR ESTUPENDO PARA ESQUIAR
AUNQUE ESTA UN POCO LEJOS DE VAIL Y LE FALTA MANTENIMIENTO VALE LA PENA HOSPEDARSE. , TIENE VISTAS A LAS MONTAÑAS Y VES PASAR VENADOS, LA COCINA ESTUPENDA , CON UN POCO MAS DE MANTENIMIENTO ESTARIA INCREIBLE.
