Not a hotel!!! So no bellboy and no cleaning lady!

Posted Mar 15, 2015 on Hotels
First of all, it is not a Hotel, so beware, no bellboys or assistance for luggage, No room cleaning service (unless you pay an extra fee) place looks old and dated, I fell for the photos on the hotels site, but our condominium was very different, mattresses so old and wavy you couldn't have a great sleep after a day of skiing, lady in the front desk very kind, they shouldn't offer this as a hotel, actually they are like time shares so that's why the discrepancies in the photos and reality, as every single owner has its own taste and budget.

I will not stay at this property again.

A group of 7 of us rented this place in Beaver Creek in order to be close to Beaver Creek and Vail Resorts for a ski weekend getaway. The entire experience was unsatisfactory. The condo did not feel like home or comfortable; it was advertised as sleeping 8 people but neither of the couches pulled out, therefore, it only sleeps 6 people comfortably. The condo was dirty and seemed very unkempt. One of our guests had to sleep on the couch and there was only 1 extra blanket for an entire 3 bedroom condo. Half of the staff we had interactions with were rude and acted inconvenienced. We had trouble getting into the building after returning from dinner around 9:30 pm on friday night. We were unaware certain doors were locked and that we had to enter through the main entrance. I feel for the price we paid, the condo was not even close to meeting our expectations. If we had paid less, then I would have expected this situation. I will definitely not be returning to this property.

Pros: Very close walk to gondola!
Cons: They don't have a pool or hot tub - but they give you discounted tickets to the rec center in walking distance with water slides and hot tub.
Nice place, in walking distance to restaurants and the gondola. Clean facility with relatively updated furnishings.

High rise condo convenient to freeway

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Location convenient to I-70, accomodating staff, spacious rooms, luxury bedding, 3 full baths.
Cons: Our unit did not have a gas grill on the deck.
Location: Easy freeway access but also some freeway nose. Freeway and bike path access to Vail and Vail Pass.
We stayed one night in August whoemfollowing the Colorado Protour Challenge. This was a very spacious, well-appointed penthouse suite, a true luxury condo for little more $ than a motel room would have been.

Adequate

Posted Jul 29, 2014 on Hotels
Adequate is the best term to describe The Seasons at Avon. The good: size of unit - large 2 bedroom, 2 bath with dinning area and living room and balcony, shower - good water pressure and temperature, location - good to get in and out of Avon, not sure about access to skiing, value - relatively low rates, parking - underground parking included. TVs - there are large, new tvs in the living room and master bedroom. The not so good: old - the unit is just plain old. The carpet needs to be replaced badly. The seams between linoleum and carpet had exposed nails so we had to wear shoes inside. The walls have gouges in them and the linoleum is in rough shape. If you are just looking for a basic place to stay with good size and location, you should consider The Seasons. If you want a new, pretty, fancy place, look elsewhere.

nice hotel room needs updated

The Seasons resort was nice. The condos are privately owned and therefor the condition may vary. This condo had several maintenance issues including bathroom cabinets not intact, no screen in the window and several lighting issues.

Very comfortable

We enjoyed our stay and the accommodation was excellent. I suppose it is likely when you go to a winter vacation spot you will find maintenance work going on and that was the detraction here, but overall a good place.

Hotel in Avon, CO over July 4.

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Hotel was nice and clean but it had no AC so we had to run fans all the time. Stove is too close to refrigerator so stove door won't open all the way. Queen bed in master room was very saggy in middle and your head went downhill. We had to turn. Couldn't flip because it's afew pillow top. Otherwise was great.
