wonderful weekend getaway

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Beautiful outside grounds, great fitness room, and close to town.
Cons: I would have liked to get the mountain view room i purchased.
Location: Beautiful river running behind the hotel, biking available at the hotel. Gondola runs from hotel in winter.
Enjoyed the beautiful facilities... situated on the river. Excellent fitness room with the latest equipment. Thought i was purchasing a mountain view room per expedia, but ended up with a view of the entrance driveway. Enjoyed our stay immensely nonetheless!!

Two queen size beds

Posted Jun 17, 2014
We wanted to have a quick family get away and booked the room with two queen beds. The hotel itself is very nice. Our room though was tiny and we could hear everything next door. I called the hotel staff to inform them that our neighbors were very noisy and the problem seem to be resolved in about 20 minutes. We wouldn't stay here again unless we could afford to stay in one of their larger suits. A bit pricey for such a small room.

Relaxing Hotel That Has It All!

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Recommend that the hotel place a light on the US flag that is flying 24 hours a day - it's the law if the flag is up after dark.
Location: Easy day trips to Aspen and Mt. Evans with breathtaking views to and from.
The hotel exceeded our expectations. The decor and accommodations could not have been more comfortable - we wanted to move right in. The view from our room was beautiful and overlooked the creek, which was right outside the hotel door. The Suite balcony and in-room fireplace were an added bonus. The fully stocked kitchen also provided everything we needed and more. Definitely worth the few extra dollars a night. While the hotel allows pets, we never once heard any noises or saw any signs that pets were in the hotel. If you are a smoker, you are out of luck. The hotel campus is smoke-free. If you are an avid cyclist, casual bike rider, runner or walker, the trail runs right along the creek - a beautiful location and perfect for families!

We had a grat stay, staff very friendly & helpful.

Pros: Location and the stunning views.
Cons: Dining choices very limited, our room had flower pots with last years dead flowers still in the pots, & a hose just laying on deck, UNSIGHTLY!
I like this location much better than Vail hotels, and being pet friendly is important to us. Special thanks to Chris at the front desk for assisting with wi if settings on my I Pad.

Great hotel

This was our second stay at the Westin Beaver Creek, great hotel located in the valley, located a couple of miles from the Beaver Creek ski resort which can be reached via a free bus service. Super clean, comfortable hotel, renovation of the pool, spa, gift shop and restaurant are currently going on, a little diss appointing that we were forwarned when we booked via expedia. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay - but many amenities were closed

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Location was great. Rooms were very nice. Bed was super comfortable.
Cons: The pool and hot tub were closed for construction - wish we would have known that when making the reservation. Also the Gondola was not running.
Location: Can't miss the hotel, it's huge. There are free buses very close that will take you anywhere you need to go.
We had a wonderful experience. Check in and check out was easy and the staff was accommodating. The concierge gave us helpful information and didn't give us a high pressure sales pitch for the time shares - which made the time share meeting MUCH more appealing.

Nice Hotel with a few drawbacks

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: The room itself was beautiful.
Cons: Their pet policy is too restrictive.
Location: The hotel is located in Avon, about a half mile from Interstate 70. The Beaver Creek ski resort is less than a mile away.
We booked a one night stay to celebrate our anniversary, and brought our two dogs with us. Overall, we were pleased with the accommodations; our large room had an expansive view of the mountains, shared deck, kitchenette, sitting area, comfortable king bed, and huge modern bathroom. On the downside, the pool and hot tubs were closed for maintenance, and their pet policy was too restrictive. We were not allowed to leave the dogs unattended in the room, could not bring them through the lobby area between 2-10, nor could we leave them in our car in the hotel parking garage. This prohibited us from participating in any activity in the hotel as a couple, including dining. The hotel required the use of valet service for parking, and the parking attendants told us they could not allow the dogs in our car for liability purposes. This policy forced us to spend all our time and money elsewhere (except to sleep). On the bright side, we enjoyed a delicious Italian dinner at Ticino's, which was walking distance away (although we had to drive there.)

3 day ski trip

Posted Feb 4, 2014
Pros: easy onto the slopes, great service, less $ than the Ritz. Great shower!
Cons: Elevator maintenance
Location: ski, ski, ski
Only issue was the elevator quit working for a couple of hours.
