I booked the same hotel I've been booking for 28 years, and when I arrived it was under renovation. No view of the lake, and so many twists and turns to get to my room. Odd experience, won't be coming back any time soon.

Very pleasant stay.
Four very pleasant nights, we particularly enjoyed the Spa. We'd booked to eat on the terrace on our last night but were called just before our booking time to say that the kitchen had no gas so they could only offer salads. We ate at the restaurant across the road which was excellent. Parking is quite expensive but easier than using one of the public car parks.

I Definitely recommend the Grand Hôtel Barrière in Enghien les Bains! Excellent service and amazing SPA amenities 12 minutes from Paris.

Un peu vieillot sur la déco mais le service est très agréable, le restaurant est bon et l'accès casino et spa est un vrai plus. Nous avions une chambre vue sur Lac avec un balcon couvert et c'était vraiment très joli

A disappointing stay: a hotel that feels like the Shining: endless corridor leading to oddly positioned elevator. The Spa while nice is only available using ONE coupon per person and per stay. You want to relax today go to the gym in the morning? You can't. It's either or since it's only one coupon. Everything feels a little greedy. Unpleasant.

Great location, cordial front desk and very warm surroundings. I was not happy to be denied entry to the pool. My bathing suit which I use in NH was not allowed in their pool. Very disappointed. The staffer at the pool was very rude.

So I booked a junior suite for 3 adults I think it’s worth noting the 3rd bed is a sofa bed with a very very thin mattress. The staff were very helpful and resolved my complaint quickly. The spa is lovely and it’s very well laid out

Lovely spa & fantastic staff
The first room we were given was very tired and in need of refurbishment. Staff were vert helpful and moved us to a better room. Just a couple of small niggles, the curtains didn’t cover the window fully and the shower screen had no seal so soaked the floor but this didn’t spoil our stay. The spa was fantastic, the staff lovely and incredibly helpful, we would Like to come again. Thank you

Love the area and is closed to the city centre. It is clean and the manicured lawn is awesome and it is quiet too.

Paris outskirts stay
Weekend stay with visits to Auvers-sur- Oise and Paris, hotel is in the ideal location. However, whilst the ground floor (restaurant reception, bar) has been modernised our room was tired. Definitely in need of a refurbishment and update. Good spa facilities.

Great stuff and Relaxed state
Hotel staff is very kind and helpful. Through the concierge,I could get a table on the terrace at Restaurant Fouquet. I got a free access to a spa and participated to aqua gymnastic, which was very pleasant .

Leisure hotel with a SPA pools
The location is quite ideal, just in between our 2 families to visit. There is a lake in front so that we can have a morning walk for exercise. The SPA pools are excellent indeed, equivalent to Japanese Onsens, in my opinion.

Luxury grand hotel in beautiful location
Beautiful grand hotel in lovely lakeside location, attractive small town outside Paris but easy to get into city. Great facilities in room and hotel, such as spa. Nice to have kettle with tea and coffee in room, especially interesting variety of teas. Only negative: mattress in my room uncomfortable, needed replacing!

Great Stay
Really Nice Staff. Great Breakfast. Nice pool/ leisure facility. Room was a little dated, but very quiet/ soundproofed so condition that was not really an issue Couldn't work out why there was no shower curtain on the bath? The suburb of Enghien-Les-Bains is really quaint. Come out, turn right and you're at the station within 10 mins.

It was a gorgeous property! We got a couples massage in a beautiful room, and they did a wonderful job. Being off-Paris you do need to know some French. Mine isn’t great and I felt one staff member was annoyed with me, but the rest were very helpful. Also the restaurant doesn’t open until 7:30 pm, not sure if you can get room service before then, but we had some local food delivered to the lobby by deliveroo.

Lovely hotel in nice location. The spa was very nice also. Need to take the train into Paris but station was in walking distance. Only negative was the poor lighting in the bathroom which made it really difficult to shave etc. Overall a very nice stay.

This was a quaint and comfortable hotel. I would say that the pluses were the staff and the overall facilities. While a bit outside of Paris, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It was a $45 Uber to the city but to not drive in that traffic was fine. I really enjoyed the spa with steam room and sauna. The two pools were great, one cool and the other more like a giant jacuzzi but not too warm. My room was comfortable but a bit worn around the edges. The bed had a sag but I was comfortable. The deep bathtub was a plus. I would definitely return.

This hotel is a 30 minute train ride outside of city center. The little town it is in has the best wine shop, amazing restaurants and very safe. The spa was incredible! They don’t get a lot of American tourist but worked with us and help us with everything. This hotel is a little jem that a lot of people do not know about.

Staff great. Hard to find because address on internet is wrong. Restaurant worth the visit for dinner..excellent food, presentation and service. Rooms are dated...need refurbushing (at least the ´superior’ one we had rented). Shower awful (bathtub type with short window pane) ...water all over the floor. Can’t have breakfast à la carte, so you either pay 20 euros/pers or walk 10 minutes into town to get a croissant & coffee. The hotel has a few lovely cats roaming around...they love attention and are super friendly - love that in a hotel...but it’s not for non-animal lovers.

I booked 2 nights in Le Grand Hôtel. I ended up in a adjacent hotel with no working AC. Complained twice with no results however they did provide a fan. The hotel room I booked was not the hotel I got.
