“Excellent hotel for one nights stopover”

Clean, comfortable, great hotel for a one night stay while traveling. Nothing in the way of fine restaurants or other amenities in the neighborhood. Just a couple of fast food restaurants. Can't beat the price.

“Don't understand the bad reviews”

I am a college student so the quality of a motel to me might be different than to an adult or family. The motel was a perfect fit for my friends and me because it was cheap and convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If I ever need to stay in Valdosta again, I will be returning to this motel.

“Not Impressed”

We arrived at 3:00 which was check in time and the room was not ready. We left and came back in an hour and it was ready. Once we got our room, we turned the air on before we left for Wild Adventures. We got back at 12:00 and the air was not working. They offered a double room, but we are larger people so we had to sweat it out for the night. Overall we would not give this hotel a good review.

“Not a Bad Stay”

In checking in the Manager could not find our reservations and said that was a problem with Expedia. He warned against using a third party to book reservations. I had the printed confirmation with me so they did find a room for us. The room was clean and faced the courtyard/pool area. The ice machine was broken and there was a family reunion with lots of kids at the hotel that was overwhelmingly noisy in the courtyard. We spoke to the front desk clerk and he said he couldn't ask them to be quiet until after 10:30pm. Around 11:00 it did quiet down. The room seemed clean and our stay was pleasant enough. If you are just passing through Valdosta or not staying more than a night or two, this was a good deal for the money!

“One word.....Roaches!”

Ok, I have stayed at some not so great hotels before and I was completely ok with thinking we are just stopping to sleep and hitting the road again in the am. It was ok until then...while my boyfriend was getting ready to leave, I had gotten our things together and was waiting, as I looked at the bedside table to be sure I got our things from the stand....ROACHES! And what was worse, my bf just freaks when it comes to them, so, I never told him that I seen them in our room. But we will not be back! I can handle many things but not that. Best of luck, it's right off the freeway which was convenient. Check out was easy, leave the key in your room.

“Eat first!”

Days Inn usually provides a comp b'fast. This one did not...the adjoining restaurant is closed...who knew? Went next door to a Cracker barrel...Closed!!! How bad an area is it before a Cracker Barrel can't make a go of it? Other than an inconvenient area for eating, the hotel was OK..clean and quiet.

Area recommendations

Try the Days Inn at Lake Park GA...enjoyed it last year going south
