“ok, but would not return.”
We were traveling, needed over nite hotel. The room was very damp, they had dehumidifier to control it but I have asthma and it wasn't pleasant. The staff was very nice.
“Stay on the other side of the interstate!”
right off interstate and easy to get to but a little scary. we appeared to be the only car in the parking lot which was a little unsettling. pool needed cleaning and maintaining badly. Front desk person was lacking in personality. Room had been smoked in and needed updating. Bad moldy smell in the room as well and very moist feeling. Bedding very unpleasant...I would not allow my kids to touch anything but the sheets. We checked in at 3pm and had rest of evening to pass time so we went across the interstate and wish we would have stayed in one of the hotels on that side.
“Sleep Inn Valdosta, GA”
Hotel was nice over-all, especially the personnel at the front desk (check-in and check-out) and the breakfast! Only problem was the youth on upper floors STOMPING (literally) while were were trying to sleep. Apparently they were a step team. I finally couldn't take it anymore and phoned the front desk. The desk manager acknowledged my complaint and stated that he had just left the group asking that they quite down. The group didn't readily quite down but I did eventually fall off to sleep. When getting breakfast the next morning, I thanked the manager for attempting to reslove the problem. He stated my room # and remembered my call. He also stated that he had other complaint calls and was sure he would be issuing discounts and/or credits at check-out but no one mentioned a discount or credit to me when checking out. Hopefully, the discount has been forwarded to Expedia for forwarding to me.
“Nice place to stay”
The only complaint I have is, the room (especially the bathroom) had a bad odor. Think they had a ventilation problem. Loved the fact that there was a restaurant and play area in the parking lot!

This hotel was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

Very pleased with the experience. The hotel was clean and nice. We did check out pretty early and couldn't find any employee to assist. But the beds were comfortable and the shower was very clean.
