“Would recommend”

Hotel is small and staff is friendly. Good for relaxation. No pool, but rooms are clean.

“Would go back.”

Would be nice if they offered complimentary continental breakfast or passes to the movies or amusement park. Although our stay was good. The hotel is run more like a apartment building.

“Great hotel, needs more parking”

Overall, I liked the hotel. The staff was was very helpful and the rooms were clean. I could not maintain a WIFI connection in my room. When I spoke to the girl at the front desk, she apologized and said that they are working on extending the range. The beds were a little on the firm side, but that's what I prefer. The A/C wasn't on in the room when we checked in and it took a couple of hours to get comfortable. The one big complaint I have is the parking. I did not get back to the hotel until after midnight on two nights and I had to park in the lot next door.

“Nice Place to stay”

While I have been in nicer places, The Garden Villas are quant and nicely decorated. The bed was a bit hard, but the room was pretty clean and price was right.

“Nothing special but good location -- good value for basic accomodations”

This hotel is close to downtown whereas most of the other hotels are on the edge of town near the Interstate. These are efficiency apartments and have people living in them that work seasonally at the nearby theme park, as well as vacationers with small kids that appreciate the kitchens. As such, there is no breakfast provided or other amenties that you expect in midrange hotels. However, rooms are decent and clean and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet although the lights were very bright outside and shone through the miniblinds so much that our room wasn't dark at night. Light blocking curtains over that window would have been much appreciated. Parking is a bit cramped in the "atrium" part of the lot so if you have a large vehicle, it's best to park on the outside of the hotel. Good value for basic accomodations.

“A far cry from fair......”

To be quite frank.... I have stay at better in 3rd world countries for much less. The room (jacuzzi suite) is way over priced uless you find high value in sleeping in the jacuzzi. Room was big but obviously retorfitted with the jacuzzi which took hours to fill. What is worse it having housekeeping calling at 9:00am to get you out of the room.

“Not impressed”

The hotel room had no window. To take a shower and walk from the bathroom to the bed the bottom of my feet were black. The bed was only 4ft from the bathroom door. It was disgusting. Do they ever mop the floors. While I understand it is the south, it was still mortifying to have palmetto bugs crawling around in the room. My hotel room door, while it shut, there was an inch gap at the top of the door, not making me feel very secure in my room.
