Will only stay here when we visit ValenciaPosted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: The professional and impressive staff, the room design, the bath products, the cleanliness, the location, the bar (pineapple smoothies)
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Location: The hotel is in the heart of the old city near the museums and best restaurants. You can walk everywhere easily.
We had two rooms - the Executive room for my husband and myself and a Superior room for our two teenagers. The communication from the hotel about our room being ready and about a spare bed was much appreciated. The staff was the most professional we encountered throughout our stay in Spain. The rooms designs were modern, sleek and they were immaculate. Beds were comfortable and bath products were Bulgari. We will never stay anywhere else when we visit Valencia (yearly). They have a small bar off the lobby- you can drink inside or out on a little patio. The location couldn't be better for walking in the heart of the city and to the best restaurants.

Lovely boutique hotelPosted Jul 8, 2015
We had a lovely one night stay in one of the top-floor rooms, so in the eaves. Unusual room layout, but interesting. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Drinks at the bar were nice. Hotel is in a good quiet location. We found it easy to get to/from it by foot or taxi. The only negative thing to say was that there was no iron in the room, or one available. so we had to use the laundry pressing service, which was poor (I had to send the clothes back for another once over!), and costly as they charged 1.5 times the normal price for their express service (less than 24 hours turnaround!). I was slightly annoyed by this additional cost, especially as the pressing wasn't great. One our way out to dinner the manager did ask me if the problem was sorted, so at least she was aware of it. This showed good communication between the staff. However, I know that many hotels would have actually waived the cost seeing as it was 10 minutes of their time. Anyway, I wasn't going to let this minor thing spoil our lovely stay. We'd stay again

Lovely hotel in great locationPosted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: The staff were so helpful and friendly.
Location: Great location in the old town with lots to see nearby and the hotel recommended a bike hire shop nearby.
My husband and I have just got back from 3 nights at the Caro and enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Our room was nice and very quiet with no noise from the street. The complimentary soft drinks and snacks a nice touch. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a good variety of tasty and beautifully displayed food.

Modern and comfortable.Posted Jun 11, 2015
Cons: Only suggestion would be to provide luggage racks in room.
Location: Location was good. Within old city area and walking distance to many historical sites.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Decor was pleasant mixture of modern and artifact. Bathroom was laid out nicely and many toiletries were supplied.

Design of room versus ease of functionPosted May 14, 2015
Pros: Already stated.
Cons: Room layout, design, and surfaces to put things.
Location: Beautiful plaza nearby and great walking about old town.
Great location. Wonderful staff. But the person who designed the room we stayed in does not travel themselves. The minimalist design of the room is elegant, but there is no place to put your stuff. One very small table, one very small vanity. Two tiny side tables by bed. For example, if you ordered tea in the morning, which was a great service, the tea and tray would take up the space on the one table, unless you wanted to put it on the floor. When you travel, you have to open things up, lay them about, and have room to prep and relax. Our room had no simple surfaces and niches to do this. Great bed, very quiet sleeping. But the design was poor for functionality.
