Too expensive for what it is

This hotel hasn't seen an upgrade since early 1980s, when it probably catered to business/convention visiting clientele. These days it's mostly frequented by organized groups of Spanish high school excursions. Whatever it costs it's still too much for what it is.

good hotel near all shop and transport

Pros: I think I would not return time and time again
Cons: since I was last there they have removed the tea and coffee machine
Location: very near all art galleries parks and good transport links
as I have stayed in this hotel for at least ten times I knew what to expect

Pros: Excellent location
Cons: It was OK
Location: It is in the city center close to everything. You can reach important places by walking. There is a market (Mercadona) just behind the hotel
Pleasing staff, excellent hotel. but the web says that has gym inside and it has not.

From start to finish I was made to feel welcome and offered immediate help to access my room with my luggage despite there appearing to be a shortage of staff,. However my reduced mobility was discreetly noticed and the necessary help unobtrusively and perceptively and considerately given. This level of service continued wherever I happened to be within the hotel. Bar staff helpful, welcoming and very professional. On my return from a hospital appointment my discomfort was obvious and again though staff appeared short in supply and I being well aware that room service was not part of the deal, my bar snack and drink was brought to my room. I cannot thank the staff enough for going that extra mile that made a huge difference to my stay. I have stayed at the Expo, Valencia a couple of times now and I am rarely disappointed. One cannot be better situated for accessing the many attractions Valencia City has to offer. Great value for money. If I had any negative, it would be that my room looked and felt a little tired on the decor front. However it did not detract from my overall stay and nor would it prevent me from re-booking very soon. A big thank you to all of the staff for their welcome, consideration and support. Hotel from hell

This truly is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Rude staff, including a cleaning lady who entered my room at 7am despite a do not disturb card having been placed on the door. The room smelt badly, when we opened the windows the ceiling boards would blow around. The bathroom was clearly dirty and generally the hotel look like it had not been modernised since the 60s. I've stayed at some run down hotels, but this is the worst. The photos on expedia are nothing like the real experience. My advice pay a little extra and stay at NH Centre.
