Great for Science Museum and OceanographicPosted Mar 6, 2014
Not quite up to standards of other Holiday Inn Express we've stayed in but for the location can't grumble. The room looked well used and with no a/c was very warm. Staff very friendly and helpful. 10 min walk to Science museum. Park on the roads nearby for free and save €15.

excellent location.Posted Sep 5, 2013
Used this hotel before and will certainly use again. friendly helpful staff. A added bonus for this city hotel is the swimming pool, small but very welcoming in the Spanish heat. Location great, easy to find and within walking distance of shops and bars etc.

Good hotel in good location.Posted Aug 29, 2013
We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel with 2 children and it was ideal for our needs. Just a 5-10 minute walk to the Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias. Shopping mall next door. Bus stop nearby to take you into the centre or you can walk it in 30-40 minutes.

Nice hotelPosted Jun 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location is awesome, the staff were helpful. The breakfast is included and is a normal holiday Inn breakfast. Not too many choices for breakfast but very reasonable. The coffee is awesome. You can walk out of the hotel and there is big mall next to you (2 mins walk) with lots of stores and eating places. The science centre is couple mins away too which is great. This is a good hotel to stay, and you wont be surprised when you walk in to your room whereas most hotels in Europe have something shocking/surprising. Totally recommend this hotel.

Very good value, friendly staffPosted Jun 8, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, rooms very good for the price
Cons: Parking sign doesn't lead to the parking - drive to reception instead
Location: Very close to Ciutat des Artes
Rooms were in good condition for a budget hotel. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast better than some other HI Express outlets. Ten minutes' walk to the opera. Excellent quality for the low rates paid.

Layover to SevillaPosted Apr 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Reasonably price for a layover to Sevilla from Barcelona. The Buffett was great start before our road trip. Room was small for 2 Adults and 2 Children, but most of the rooms in the EU are.

Excellent value for money!Posted Mar 29, 2013
Pros: Comfortable beds, good size room.
Cons: Greedy tourists; computers are a bit old.
Location: Far from centre, but easy to get to by bus; near the City of Science and next to a shopping centre with a Carrefour - great for cheap water bottles!
The staff were helpful, the room was very comfortable and clean, a real treat to have a proper bath too! Once you know what buses you can use to get to the town centre and nearest metro, it's easy to get around as buses run very frequently. The buffet breakfast offered an excellent choice of food and drinks, it's just a shame certain groups of very greedy and inconsiderate tourists thought they could take advantage of this amazing offer and made piles of sandwiches for their lunches; maybe a note should be posted to kindly ask customers not to overstep the mark - I'm not sure these hotels will be able to continue to offer such good value if this keeps up, which is a real shame.
