Fantastic locationPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Location is great. The common computer room even has a microwave which we took advantage of for one of our paella takeout meals.
Cons: We had requested a room with a double bed but got one with 2 twin beds instead. This seemed quite common in hostals in Spain.
Location: Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The central market and many historical buildings and cathedrals within easy walking distance.
This is a charming hotel in a fantastic location, right in the old city. The room was simple, comfortable and spotless. There are restaurants and bars all around which can contribute to the noise level but it didn't really affect our stay.

Amazing deal in ValenciaPosted Jun 30, 2013
Can't believe this hotel is only rated 2 stars! For the cheap price you pay, you get a clean modern room for which I would have paid twice that much. The hotel is located right in the middle of town at Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Staff is efficient, breakfast is decent. All in all, one of the best deals I've encounted in Europe.

Very impressedPosted Jun 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
I felt my room at Hostal Venecia was great- super location, nice view, clean, comfortable, friendly staff - I even liked it better than the "higher end" hotel down the street where my friends were staying!

First rate Value & ServicePosted Sep 27, 2012
Pros: No frills the right way
Cons: Local restaurants scraping their tables about at 1:00am
Location: Can't get much more central than this.
Very friendly and extremely helpful staff, despite our appalling Spanish (they all spoke English). This is a superb example of how to do a "no frills" hotel. 5 mins from main rail station and metro to airport, 5 mins to centre of Valencia. Great view of the fountains out front too. We also were able to leave our luggage in their lockers, after we checked out, so we could spend some more time exploring, came back, used loos, checked e-mails before heading away. Definitely up for a return trip.

comfortable and convenient mid-range hotelPosted Jun 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
Clean, comfortable, well located in the centre of Valencia. The staff were helpful, the breakfast reasonable. Smal inconvenient - the bathroom smelt on one of the 3 days we were there. This seems to be a common problem in Spain, however, and not specific to this hotel.

Venecia Hostel , ValenciaPosted Apr 1, 2012
Pros: Location, Location, Location, and reasonable price.
Cons: The lifts are a little slow and antiquated and our room had a microwave but would have found a fridge more useful.
Location: Fantastic for City Centre and Metro all within easy walking distance.
Fantastic location for Valencia city centre. Rooms are fairly basic but clean and confortable with good views over the square from rooms on the front. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Superb modern Hotel in the centre of ValenciaPosted Jan 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
My wife and I stayed at the Venecia just overnight, but we will definitely go back. It overlooks wonderful fountains in the Town Hall Square, and it is so beautifully decorated and furnished. Whilst there are only basic dining facilities, it is in the middle of a lively night time area - but not noisy. Try it - you will not be disappointed.

Excellent location and good value.Posted Nov 5, 2011
Location: City Centre
Went with my son, primarily to see Champions League football games. Valencia is a wonderful city and this hotel was spot on for our needs. Short walk from train station and really well positioned in the city centre. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and room was clean and met our needs. It's a really good 2-star hostel - I'd stay again if we play there again.

Great LocationPosted Nov 5, 2011 on Hotels.com
Good hotel in a great location overlooking the square, close to the station and the beach. Friendly helpful staff who spoke good english. Rooms were clean, spacious with fridge and free Wifi. Breakfast was good value for money. The only negative was the smell of poor plumbing in the room which was quite unpleasant at times, especially at night. The use of an overpowering air freshener in the bathroom appeared to have been used to mask this problem.

Nice, clean basic hotel in a great location.Posted Oct 23, 2011 on Hotels.com
I must admit this hotel looks fantastic on the outside all classical looking but internally it's decor inside was bland. However the location is excellent, just a couple of minutes walk from the station, right in the heart of the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was spotless. The room had a fridge, aircon and safe included and the continental breakfast was good value. The room was a little noisey but you are in the heart of one of Spain's major cities. Lots of things to see and do in Valencia with great public transport. Beach, cathedral, museums, aquarium, zoo, science museum, botanical gardens, F1 track.......really is something for everyone. Great value hotel, in a great location.
