The best place to stay in Valencia!

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Room, cleanliness, outdoor swimming pool.
Cons: Cheaper restaurant, we had to wait an extra 30 minutes to check-in.
Location: The hotel is on the beach front, with restaurants by the side. It's easy to get to and from the city via the tram and metro service which is close by.
We stayed in Valencia for five nights in August and had a fantastic time. The room was excellent, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and was clean. The hotel amenities are very good, especially the outdoor pool and surrounding area. The restaurant is expensive, but as expected at a 5* resort. The hotel is easy to get to via public transport or taxi and you won't want to leave!

Great location and style

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Style, atmosphere, relaxing and not too imposing.
Cons: Food, room service menu too much ham, wine was corked, menu at pool inadequate, prices not matched by quality in main restaurant, smoking by kids pool
Location: Beach, pool, 10 minutes to town by car for lots of shopping, massive range of restaurants nearby, everything you need.
Lovely architectural style and design right next to the beach and a great kids pool, the sunbeds to rooms is about right unlike many similar hotels. Beach is two minutes away. Let down by food and drink, but 20 restaurants two minutes away on beachfront so do don't let this put you off. Menu is bit too geared for local market and smoking by the children's pool odd. Broadband included and works well. Ate at three hotel restaurants once only and then ate elsewhere and was much happier. I would go again and had a good time.

Dear Guest, Thank you for forwarding us your views about your visit to Las Arenas. We appreciate your feedback. We are quite saddened about your opinion concerning our food in our restaurants. I will share it with our team to try to improve the perception of our food and menus. we hope to welcome you back in the hotel. Best regards,

A Moorish Delight

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Location,Staff and facilities all very good, and serve a great G & T with cucumber
Cons: Complimentary drinking water for the duration of your stay, not just on arrival, then 6 euro a bottle, when its only 0.80 euro across the road
Location: Beach, thats about it, but the town itself, plenty, use the buses and trams and meet the locals, practice your Spanish, your in Spain!! fantastic.
Once being a former Moorish Kingdom, we decided to sample the atmosphere and grandiose architecture, we weren't disappointed. The Balneario has a fabulous location right on the beach, fantastic! and for those who like to walk, just exit the hotel and go straight you can see it all on foot! However, use the number 19 bus on Calle Reine, 3 minutes from Hotel, and for 1.5 euros your in the heart of it, or purchase a tourist travel card. Meet the locals, and brush up on your Spanish, as we found very little English spoken once you leave the hotel, and so friendly when you try out your Spanish. Valencia is generally quite expensive if you like the finer things in life!! you must eat at Cata just off the St. Vincent de Matyr (19 bus) LV, Rolex, Loewe etc.. just around the corner on poeta. The nightlife!!! Hey! its Spain, dinner at 8.30 don't rush, play till 5.00am. Verdict.....Excelente!!!

A lovely hotel with friendly, professional staff. Our evening meal could have been hotter. But lots more restaurants to try close by.

Wonderful Hotel

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: I loved the location. I enjoyed the bath house too.
Cons: More reasonable priced restaurant and bar
Location: The hotel is right on the beach and has a ton of restaurant choices all within walking distance. It is also easy to get to downtown Valencia
My partner and I stayed at Las Arenas for 4 days in June. The location is amazing if you are wanting to be right on the beach. The rooms are large and the service is excellent. I will agree with other reviews that the prices at the hotel restaurant and bar are completely ludicrous but then again if you are silly enough to pay them then that's your own doing. There are a string of great restaurants and bars less then a 5 minute walk from the hotel that have lots of good food at a much more reasonable price. We also went to the bath house which during our stay. It was a good experience although I did think the bath house would be larger. You get a discount if you are a guest and use the pools.

More than we expected

Posted Jun 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had never stayed in this hotel but were extremely satisfied with the size of the room and the level of service. Easy to get anywhere from this hotel and the beach is at your back door but secure from anyone but the hotel guests.

Best hotel stay of our lives

Posted Jun 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
I can't say enough about how great this hotel is. Every single member of the staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful and went out of his/her way to make our stay comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy, the hotel was quiet and good for sleeping, and the location was certainly ideal for those who want to be right on the beach. The pool facilities were so luxurious that we ended up spending all of our time there rather than on the beach itself, which was quite crowded with locals. There is a convenient strip of restaurants and bars right next to the hotel, which is convenience for nights when you don't feel like making the 10 minute cab ride downtown (I recommend Tridente, the restaurant at the very end of the strip). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, from families to honeymooners. Really hope to make it back someday.

Fine location close to port and beach

Posted Jun 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location of the hotel, the wonderful swimming pool and the hotel's proximity to the port and the beach were major assets. We got a competitive price on our base quote for room only: we felt that the hotel's prices for guests, once resident, were excessive and not best value for money.
