Good location

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Only 15-20 walk to the centre of old town and all the sights restaurants and bars but far enough away not to be noisy We had a high room floor but there might be a bit of road noise from lower floor rooms. the staff were very friendly and helpful the rooftop pool was small but never that busy when we were up there and the views are great. There is a big shopping mall 1 block away with loads of shops bars and restaurants also a supermarket at one end of the mall. the 2 tourist hop on hop off buses stop there as well. Would definitely consider staying there again if we return to valencia.

Good value hotel

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: The breakfast is excellent and the staff are helpful
Cons: The rooftop area just needs a bit of TLC.
Location: Easy access to the historical centre and lovely walks on the park area that used to be the river bed.
A nice, but not luxurious, good value for money hotel with a lovely buffet style breakfast and helpful staff. The roof top pool and terrace are a bit tatty which is a shame because it's a huge asset when the weather is so hot. Valencia itself is a bit of a lost opportunity.....huge sandy beach, an enormous modern arts and sciences park with a lovely historical centre but spoiled with so many empty shops and graffiti everywhere. This is probably due to the Spanish economical problems, on a plus side eating out in the city centre is really good and inexpensive.

Excellent location. No 3/5 metro from airport and one change to no 1 brings you to within 5 minutes walk from hotel. very convenient to old town - 10/15 minute walk. Very convenient for city bus tour. Excellent breakfast. 12 euro if booked in advance. Our room overlooked calle Ricardo Mico and on 6th floor. Very quiet. Most noise was through bathroom wall but could not be heard in bedroom. Very helpful and friendly staff and all spoke English.Very good value. Very near bus station.

Decent hotel but not central and wifi a big issue

Posted Jun 13, 2014
Decent facilities and comfortable beds, good room service. Clean hotel. Two things though: a) don't misguided by the name "Center" because it's the "New Center" that's being referred to here, an area that's a bit desolate at night, cut from the true center by a highway. Not great if you fancy a beer at 1 am at Plaza del Ayuntamiento for example. B) wifi very slow. And I took the paying option that supposedly supported speeds required for multimedia applications, downloading movies and so on. Well, you could barely use Skype or even sometimes it would take ages to load pages on a browser. Connection would be cut off at times. Sorry but this is a pretty important feature in any hotel nowadays.

Got a great deal

Location: Location is about 10-15 minute walk from center of Old Town and super close to the jardins del turia. Bioparc 30 minute walk.
Very nice hotel for the price we got. Rooms super clean and reasonably sized. Bed and sitting area available and nice bathroom. Good storage.

A group of 8 of us stayed at the NH in May 2014. For the price, I couldn't fault this place.

This place is fantastic!

We were delighted with our stay here. The price was a big factor in us choosing this hotel and so we were pleasantly surprised by the high standards which greeted us on arrival. The location is great, really easy to access all the city has to offer. The room was generously sized with all the facilities we needed. The rooftop terrace was a great bonus which made it possible to squeeze in some sunbathing and a few swims on our holiday. We paid for breakfast in the hotel on our last day, and while it felt pricey, there was plenty of choice on offer and was a good standard. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and had good English which was great. Will definitely stay here if back in Valencia again.

Great location next to the Turia metro.

Posted May 13, 2014
Pros: Clean, modern, well located.
Cons: You couldn't just get a coffee from the cafe at breakfast time - you had to choose the 14 euro breakfast or have nothing.
Location: Very near the old town and the metro,
We stayed in a superior room which was really nice. Great view from the 8th floor. The roof terrace was a lovely area for relaxing in the sun. Everything was very good. Our only small grumble was you couldn't just get a coffee from the cafe at breakfast time - you had to choose the 14 euro breakfast or have nothing. Lots of cafes nearby so not a big issue - would just have been nice to have the option.
