Fantastic hotel central to all amenitiesPosted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Clean. Friendly. Central. Everything!
Cons: Nothing. It is one if not the best hotel we have stayed in through our travels to different countries. It is just right!
Location: Location is perfect. Next door to the central bus station for easy commute to other cities in Spain. Taxi rank outside building. Shopping mall etc
Relaxing and chilled. Excellent food! I can go on and on but anyone who visits Valencia.needs to experience stay at this hotel

Conveniently located hotelPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The hotel is modern and part of a large chain. The front office staff was very pleasant and spoke english well. The rooms are modern and roomy.
Location: The hotel is located a 1 minute walk from the inter city bus station. It is reasonable close to the "old" city.
We had a very good experience with NH hotels. This was the first time we used them and we will do it again. Price, location and value was good. Good breakfast.

Good locationPosted Sep 20, 2014
Only 15-20 walk to the centre of old town and all the sights restaurants and bars but far enough away not to be noisy We had a high room floor but there might be a bit of road noise from lower floor rooms. the staff were very friendly and helpful the rooftop pool was small but never that busy when we were up there and the views are great. There is a big shopping mall 1 block away with loads of shops bars and restaurants also a supermarket at one end of the mall. the 2 tourist hop on hop off buses stop there as well. Would definitely consider staying there again if we return to valencia.

Good value hotelPosted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: The breakfast is excellent and the staff are helpful
Cons: The rooftop area just needs a bit of TLC.
Location: Easy access to the historical centre and lovely walks on the park area that used to be the river bed.
A nice, but not luxurious, good value for money hotel with a lovely buffet style breakfast and helpful staff. The roof top pool and terrace are a bit tatty which is a shame because it's a huge asset when the weather is so hot. Valencia itself is a bit of a lost opportunity.....huge sandy beach, an enormous modern arts and sciences park with a lovely historical centre but spoiled with so many empty shops and graffiti everywhere. This is probably due to the Spanish economical problems, on a plus side eating out in the city centre is really good and inexpensive.

Pay extra for decent wifi? Nope!Posted Aug 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
When will hotels realise that gouging visitors to pay extra for what most see as standard, in this case decent wifi, is unacceptable. It really annoys me. There was a basic free service, but if you needed anything more than dial-up connection service, you had to pay an extra tenner a night. I like the hotel and its staff, but it's management's approach sucks and I won't use another NH Hotel until I know they sort this out.

Great Roof-top Pool!Posted Jun 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was nice with great front-desk help. The big negative is the location. The neighborhood is too industrial and not charming compared to the other places I've been in Spain. The location is too far from the wonderful beach.

Excellent location. No 3/5 metro from airport and one change to no 1 brings you to within 5 minutes walk from hotel. very convenient to old town - 10/15 minute walk. Very convenient for city bus tour. Excellent breakfast. 12 euro if booked in advance. Our room overlooked calle Ricardo Mico and on 6th floor. Very quiet. Most noise was through bathroom wall but could not be heard in bedroom. Very helpful and friendly staff and all spoke English.Very good value. Very near bus station.

Decent hotel but not central and wifi a big issuePosted Jun 13, 2014
Decent facilities and comfortable beds, good room service. Clean hotel. Two things though: a) don't misguided by the name "Center" because it's the "New Center" that's being referred to here, an area that's a bit desolate at night, cut from the true center by a highway. Not great if you fancy a beer at 1 am at Plaza del Ayuntamiento for example. B) wifi very slow. And I took the paying option that supposedly supported speeds required for multimedia applications, downloading movies and so on. Well, you could barely use Skype or even sometimes it would take ages to load pages on a browser. Connection would be cut off at times. Sorry but this is a pretty important feature in any hotel nowadays.
