This is a wonderful hotel! Beautiful, clean and historic. We both had one of the best night's sleeps we have had in a long time. Also, the rooftop terrace is not to be missed at night. We saw the light show on the cathedral while enjoying our drinks from downstairs. Highly recommended.

This hotel is right on the main square, yet its located remains relatively quiet. ( We were there unknowingly during Carnivale, and experienced a loud parade one evening. ) Out room overlooked the pool and the jacuzzi that didn’t work during any of the 3 days we were there. In the morning we would be awakened early to the clamor of hotel staff. Specialty Restaurant and bar staff were not very pleasant and knowledgeable about their services. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Yo iba con mi mama de 68 años y nos ofrecieron una habitacion en 4to piso lo cual seria fantastico por la vista, pero nos dijeron que el elevador de ese edificio no servia, obviamente fue muy inconveniente, no nos quedamos en el piso que queriamos, fuimos reacomodadas en piso 1. Eso no me dejo muy satisfecha porque la vista nocturna era padrisima y no la pude disfrutar desde la habitacion

I knew that i was compromising when i booked this hotel. In exchange for location i knew i was giving up something.. that something was cleanliness. Yes its well located but i also feel like someone must have been chopped up in pieces in my room.. it has a dirty ground with questionable blood stains and dark nasty stains - maybe shoes got dragged. Also; the grounds are gross.. the pool is dirty.. the elevator is nasty and the ground and walls are gross. Its no wonder im in the lobby instead of returning to my room.. its worst up there. The parking is good though and parking attendants are nice. Internet SUCKS!

Great place to stay.
Overall this hotel is a fabulous place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is right in the center of town. The dining and food was good. Rooftop dining is great. The room is a bit small and a bit dark but beds are comfortable and shower is great.

I slipped and fell on very wet floor the baggage guy was great and brought me ice immediately and asked if i needed a Dr. But i said no. That being said they should not have put my room next to construction which caused all the water on the hallway wallway and stairs. I also heard lots of noise from them working at night. Room was very clean, stff nice, restaurant good, free parking and location great! BUT not having hot water to shower in was aweful

For the honeymoon
This is a beautiful setting. The stay was a gift for my niece's honeymoon. The location, the layout of the restaurant feels as if you are eating in the garden. It is also veruy close to several sight seeing attractions

El hotel está muy bien ubicado. Justo en el centro de todo. Personal muy amable y al pendiente siempre. Las instalaciones en ciertas areas estan un poco descuidadas. Nuestra habitación (la 403) contaba con muebles descuidados (no sucios), la taza del baño está muy mal ubicada con el portarollo que no te deja sentarte libremente. El espacio es super reducido. El agua de la regadera del baño sale demasiado fuerte y hace que el exceso se escurra por la orilla de la bañera haciendo un charco de agua que alcanzamos a ver pero si no tal vez hubieramos resbalado al salir. Deberian arreglar eso para evitar algun accidente. Como esta ubicado en el mero centro hay muchisimo ruido que se mete a las habitaciones y ademas sumenle si les toca habitacion cerca de la alberca como en nuestro caso. Recomendacion: si buscan un lugar silencioso, aqui no. En general nuestra estadia estuvo bien. Solo esos detallitos.

Our room was located at the restaurant(s) section. The cleaning in the evening was horrible. We heard every sound. I would stay again but not at those rooms location. Other than that, a solid 10!

Overall I liked the hotel but there were a couple of problems with our room. We only stayed one evening, otherwise we would have asked for another room. The room was large and clean, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well, and the staff were excellent, but the fan ceiling fan was very noisy (as a result, it could not be used) and there was two issues with the shower (1) the water in the shower was too restricter (I had to move around to get sufficient water) and the shower door leaked so the floor got wet. Perhaps this was only an issue with our room. Otherwise, I liked this hotel; the location was also excellent and the breakfast is very good.

Great location but disappointing room
Two night stopover after Merida and before flying from Cancun. Our room felt quite basic, the bathroom wasn’t great and the balcony not usable due to birds using it, but it seems we had booked a standard type of room and there are better rooms available. We only had breakfast once due to an early departure but the food seemed good.

Excelente ubicación, tuvimos algunos inconvenientes debido a que estaban remodelando el hotel, la habitación limpia y ordenada solo que las camas algo duras, el restaurante muy amables los meseros y la comida muy rica.

Awesome Hotel we loved our stay
Awesome spot. We routinely stay here on our trips to Mexico. It is an excellent stop between Cancun and Merida. Staff are super friendly, service is great, location is right downtown and the restaurant serves regional food that is absolutely delicious!

Excellent hotel in the heart of Valladolid!
This is a fantastic property in the middle of Valladolid. It is located right on the square. It has a very nice and clean pool & hot tub. The bedrooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Each one has a safe, refrigerator, and robes. The area around the hotel is safe and extremely convenient. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants without any issues. The restaurant at the hotel is also excellent. We have been here several times. The food specializes in Mexican and Mayan cuisine. Delicious! As for the staff, they are wonderful. Very attentive and easy to find. We will definitely be back!
