Noisy neighbours.Posted Dec 5, 2012
Pros: The restaurant food was good, however the number of staff was not sufficient to give a prompt service.
Cons: The hotel would require some updating, a tiny lift, worn carpet, chipped paintwork and no facilities.
Location: The location is good for the main square, however at night suffers from teenagers drinking and shouting late into the night.
The hotel was not as I thought and suffers from teenagers drinking and shouting outside late into the night.

Excellent Hotel in Aosta, ItalyPosted Dec 1, 2011
Location: The city center, contained within ancient Roma walls, is extremely charming, containing an abundance of shops, cafés and restaurants, all within a few minutes' walk. The Roman amphitheater, which is currently being restored, is two minutes from the city center. The surrounding Alps offer spectacular views in every direction, as well as some of the best skiing in Europe.
Ideally situated just steps from the main piazza and only 300 meters from the railroad station, the Hotel Europe is an excellent choice when visiting Aosta, a charming little city built by the ancient Romans, nestled between Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. The multilingual hotel staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean and the rates quite reasonable. One small caveat: the wi-fi provided by the hotel failed to work in my room for some reason no one could explain. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Close to restaurants and historic sightsPosted Jun 1, 2011 on Hotels.com
We booked a standard twin room and were given a suite with two bathrooms, breakfast included, at the same price as for a standard room. Breakfast staff pleasant and helpful. The hotel site states hotel parking, no need to book but the hotel parking was full and finding parking elsewhere was a nightmare. The hotel is near many restaurants and the main historic sights are within walking distance. Pleasant and helpful reception.
