Festive family atmosphere

Posted Jul 28, 2015
My husband and I had our weekend getaway at Harrah's Rincon. We loved the hotel and hanging out by the pool. We ended up by the lazy river (all ages side) as there weren't very many umbrellas on the adult side and it was too hot without them.

Nice Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at Harrah's. The only downside is that it was quite a bit farther away from San Diego than we expected.

Excellent choice

Cons: Check-in, check-in, check-in
An overall excellent stay. Check in was atrociously slow. One staff member was on the phone for over 30 minutes while the line was getting longer and longer. Other than that we were quite happy.

Well Worth the Drive!

Pros: Very, very friendly staff.
Cons: Smoke filled lobby.
Location: Did not partake. Drove in from San Diego which is 45 minutes away.
Beautiful hotel. Lobby is a little smoky - Casino Hotel. The staff is very community oriented which is great. Can be a lengthy wait if someone from the community arrives to check in while you are waiting to check in. Just know that if you are not a member of the community - you will wait until each has been taken care of. The room and wait staff are absolutely fabulous. I would stay again, especially if I could by-pass the smoke filled lobby.

Expensive

They charge "service fees" for everything. We travel a lot but this "resort"is outrageous. A taco, fries and a cocktail by the pool: $40. If you just want an ice cream cone you have to stand in the buffet line for 1/2 hour to get it even if you don't want the buffet. During the week all pools deny access after 8pm...you can't even walk around them when they're lit up at night. Never again.

Good resort with friendly, accommodating staff keeping the place clean. Great Lazy river that's a huge hit with the kids. They do have an adult-only pool/jacuzzi/bar area. On the down-side, restaurants located inside resort are not that great nor cheap, and you really need to drive out of your way to get to other dining choices.

Cons: Pool area needs to be for ALL guests. Build another pool for adults only.
I came with my sister and two children 7 years. We were disappointed that the only pool was the lazy river for families. The over 21 pool was hardly used. I will not return for this purpose only. The bartender Casey was the best part of our stay as far as employees go. He was friendly, informative, and professional.

Best Resort in Southern CA!

Posted Jul 21, 2015
For the price and all the emenities, there is no other choice. The whole family has something to do here. From gambling, shopping, a variety of restaurants, a great suite and a pool with a bar, 9 Jacuzzis and a lazy river. Highly recommended to everyone for a great time!
