Great location.Posted Jan 26, 2015
We were attending a function at the Terminal City Club, so couldn't have asked for a better location.

Good value; nice stay.Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Downtown location. Easy parking with in and out privileges.
Cons: Old bottles and cans were left in the cupboard. Didn't like this at all!
Our experience was enhanced by the friendliness and willingness to please of one of the staff members...Virginie Lovejoy. She got us an early entry and a late checkout and made our days with her smile and engaging chat.

Breakfast had a great selection, I had room 806 and it had a wonderful view. Would stay there again

Not a service minded hotelPosted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Location and Gym. Very easy access to skytrain.
Cons: Make it a full-service hotel. Put silverware and plates in the rooms. Ice machine on each floor. Paint the rooms, upgrade bathrooms, new mattress.
The website is a bit misleading as this is not a full-service hotel. The room was nice but the walls/paint showed the age (lots of scuffs and dings) and the bathroom wasn't so-so. The room has a kitchenette with a microwave, glassware a wineopener and an oven mitt, but no silverware, no plates, and no towels. I called down to ask and they explained I could go to the 8th Floor room where they serve continental breakfast to get silverware and plates. No offer to bring them to the room for me. I called again to ask about an amenities book -- hours for the breakfast, the pool, room service, etc. -- and was told they do not have that information in the rooms, that I would need to call the front desk to find out. A bit of a strange experience for me as I thought from the website I was getting into a full service hotel. The gym/pool were fantastic as was the location. The location couldn't be beat.

Decent place for the price.Posted Jan 20, 2015
Hotel was clean, however the beds seemed small for a queen. A little disappointed the bottom sheet was a flat sheet, not a fitted. So when you pulled the covers back, the mattress was exposed. Not a huge deal, but if this hotel was trying to set a standard, it failed with the sheets. The hotel staff was rude and a little pretentious, including the hotel manager, the woman checking us in and the woman manning the desk at the pool and fitness area. With all the fabulous places to stay in Vancouver, I will not be returning to this hotel.

Excellent accommodations! Recommended.Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Location and nice room.
Cons: More extensive breakfast choices.
Location: Vancouver tourist office as well as tourist areas are in easy walking distance.
This hotel is designed for business travelers but is great for tourists. It has no restaurant or bar, and shares a beautiful lobby with commercial facilities. The location is great, in the center of commercial as well as tourist attractions. Guests have access to a private health club with lockers available and numerous exercise machines. Breakfast is not extensive, but is adequate. Rooms are very nice, with microwave and refrigerator, nice beds and baths. Hotel is not obvious from the street but once found is a great value.

Pros: Liked this hotel
Loved the lap pool and great location. But hard to find due to the lack of signage.

it is a comfortable place in a very good location. but the hotel has no room service (or a restaurant), so if you arrive late, you are doomed; breakfast stops at 10am, even on weekends, and their gym closes at 8pm. they need to re-think their approach to timing things.

Excellent service, nice location.Posted Jan 15, 2015
What it stood out in my stay in this hotel was the excellent service that its staff provided. They were courteous, efficient, and extremely helpful. they responded to each of our requests immediately and made our stay really comfortable. The building itself is a bit labyrinthine but once you find your way everything is great, including the pool and fitness center. Their breakfast was also nice, with decent coffee, good quality pastries and fruit. Overall a wonderful experience.
