Great location, great valuePosted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: - great location (near English Bay, a variety of good food, shopping, and public transportation) - nice room - helpful desk and cleaning staff
Location: - walk around the sea wall or in Stanley Park - stroll down Denman and Robson streets - visit Whole Foods on Robson
Stayed here 4 nights in April. Check-in staff were helpful and gave us a choice of rooms. The hotel is close to many good restaurants, supermarket, drugstore, and shopping areas. Our room overlooked Davie Street but wasn't too noisy. All in all we were very satisfied.

Excellent location!Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: Location and beds
Cons: Mmmmm, I guess nothing
Location: I already did
Great location, right across the street from English Bay, walking distance to awesome restaraunts. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, my first experience at getting the "crappy rooms - no one wants, so let's give them to the Expedia customers" we were right beside the ice machine, across the haul from the very chatty housekeeping staff and right above a very busy bus stop that all the partyiers wait for their buses! Oh well you win some you lose some. Overall great hotel.

Pleasant stayPosted Apr 15, 2014
Location: The location was ideal for us since it is in walking distance to the beaches and park.
Experience was a good one. Though the car park was a bit small, not to mention the rooms, the stay was comfortable and to our satisfaction. The cleaning staff members were very friendly, making the environment very inviting.

Great Value; Noisy Saturday Night!Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Convenience and value for money.
Location: Close to everything on Denman/Davie downtown Vancouver, but can be noisy in that area at the weekend.
Stayed on business Thursday thro Sunday. Good value and nice hotel. However my room was located opposite the lifts and close to an ice machine, so when the Saturday night party animals returned to their rooms - it was very loud and kept me awake for several hours. The lift doors could use some WD40! Another time I will pay more attention to which room I am allocated, but otherwise and nice hotel.

Gorgeous location situated in heart of English BayPosted Apr 1, 2014
Hotel is situated near to fabulous fine and casual dining; fun pubs and lounges including its own; surrounded by the charm of the West End and the beauty of nature alongside English Bay. Also near to Stanley Park and the downtown scene. The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff very professional. The price was excellent for the value of the location and amenities. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel, great locationPosted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, price and location.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Stanley Park - which is a fantastic park. Plenty of ethnic restaurants from all over, all within walking distance from the hotel.
Wonderful. We stayed a couple nights (booked for 1 and decided to stay an extra night). They are located right downtown, a hop skip and a jump from Stanley Park. A lot of restaurants nearby of all kinds. We will go there again. We live only 2 hours away in the Seattle area and usually we do Vancouver in a day. But it was our anniversary so we decided to stay instead. The park location was great for our dogs and they loved it as well.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Everything is within walking distance. Good price for a downtown Vancouver hotel.

Nice hotel near the beachPosted Mar 27, 2014
Pros: Superb hotel for its price.
Cons: There's nothing to be improved. Everything is excellent, at least for me.
Close to the beach, huge rooms that are extremely clean. One bus to downtown Vancouver. Only downside for me was the lack of AC outlets (occasionally malfunctioned too). It also gets noisy at night at this location, but that is not their fault. Would definitely come here again.
