“Vancouver Best Western”

A great hotel very well located for downtown Vancouver, and English Beach and surrounding parks.

“Great Location, convenient access to bus line”

The hotel is located perfectly in the West End of Vancouver. The beach is just a block away, and Davies St is full of entertaining restaurants, cafes, and bars. Directly across from the hotel is the beginning of an express bus line that takes you downtown in minutes, which made it really easy to get around town. There is a little cafe on the corner by the hotel called the Red Umbrella Cafe, and they make a fantastic breakfast if you don't want to go the Tim Hortons route. Parking was $15, and they had a few covered parking spaces, but most spaces were outside on the parking deck behind the hotel. Front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean. The bed had some sort of body-forming topper that was very firm but contoured to your body's shape. Tiny bathroom. Nice little coffee area right by the entrance to the room with a sink, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and water cups. The bedstand had an ipod compatible alarm clock. While we didn't spend much time in the room, it met our needs for location and price. Definitely would stay here again.

Very convenient to the beach and Stanley Park. Just a 4 minute walk.

It was easy to find and in a great location. There were two couples and the two queen beds pretty much filled the room The room could have been a little larger but still worked out well.

Very satisfactory 2 night stay - great location, right beside English Bay beach & Stanley Park, easy walks & bus access, including those Hop-on, Hop-off bus lines. Lots of good ethnic restaurants and others, a few doors down from a Safeway & MacDonald's. Great view of the harbor from the room. Amenities: bathroom, coffee in room, TV, free WiFi all good. Great hotel for the price!
