Pros: The entrance makes you feel important, and is very very stylish. It's definitely a front for what is to come (the rooms are despicable)
Cons: Cleanliness, Room Renovations.
Location: Didn't stay long enough to find out.
I called the night before (flight scheduled changed) that I would be checking in the next night, not on the night originally put on the reservation. Upon arrival, the agent was upset that I didn't call expedia, they were beating around the bush and implying I will have to pay for the day I missed, even though I contacted the hotel the day of and was assured that was fine. Finally they gave me Expedia's number and urged me to call them to make changes to the existing reservation as they cannot because Expedia booked it. After going up to our room, which was supposed to be a suite, we were greeted with an old fashioned room that appeared to be a converted apartment. The room had a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The conditions were extremely gross. The room smelt like ash and dust. The bed was hard and had hair on the clean sheets. The carpet was stained and dirty. The light switches were decora style and covered in dirt in between the switches. The bathroom had peeling caulking around the tub and again a stained and rusty sink. The heat was provided through radiant heat and the covers for the heaters were bent, and falling off. The hallway closet was broken off its track, had bronze on it, and was barely supported (dangerous if you have kids) The final straw was the odd lamps, and broken switches on them. I felt as if I was being punished. I cancelled my reservation and will NEVER go back to this hotel.

Large rooms were very nice, great view of downtownPosted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: Large rooms gave lots of space, didn't feel like they were trying to just cram multiple people into the hotel
Cons: Bathroom and kitchen could be updated. Older looking and needs slight maintenance to match the quality of the rest of the room
Location: Downtown Vancouver. Near lots of interesting bars and restaurants, close to BC Place and Rogers Arena
Very easy process. Checked in and out in a matter of minutes. No issues.

Great place to stay.Posted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: The quiet and and restfulness I got staying there.
Cons: A hot tub by the pool would be nice but the steam room is great and very peaceful and restful.
Location: Stanley Park and not too far from Granville Island.
I appreciated the clean, quiet restful environment and enjoyed the pool and steam room also. Had a stressful day with a snow storm and freezing rain in the Fraser Valley and had a early morning apt with my daughter at Vancouver General Hospital. Have recommended this hotel to my sister and will recommend it to others as it is a great location and a safe quiet place to stay.

Nice staff great locationPosted Mar 2, 2014
Very enjoyable stay in an executive king suite on the 28th floor with balcony. Gorgeous views if Vancouver & a very confortable room and bed. I really like the free initiative this hotel promotes, if you refuse maid service for the day they give you a $5 food credit for the restaurant or coffee shop below. If you do not use your credit you can bring it to the front desk when you check out and the proceeds go to the autism Society. Nice little touch

Great hotel, horrible uncomfortable beds.Posted Mar 2, 2014
We had a great stay, other than the comfort of the bed. The hotel was clean, the staff were great, the rooms were huge and the price was perfect. The beds on the other hand were worse than sleeping on a board. My husband and I thought we might get more sleep on the floor. If we had stayed more than 1 night this time, we would have asked to switch rooms that had a different mattress. It was the worst hotel bed we have ever slept on. Great hotel with the exception of the beds.

Stay at Century Plaza HotelPosted Mar 1, 2014
Cons: Parking should be included (not 21 extra), and the voucher for the restaurant should be usable at dinner OR breakfast. The add never specified...
Location: There is a comedy club downstairs, and it is close to davie street.
I decided to stay at the CP hotel after the BC Small Business Awards. It is a short bus ride or longer walk between the pan pacific or conference centre and this hotel. The hotel was nice enough, but the rooms were a bit dated.
