a good location from everythingPosted Dec 20, 2014
Pros: The staff are very friendly and location is very convenient.
Cons: The hotel does need an update in terms of aesthetics such as the hallways and other amenities like the pool area and gym. more than acceptable though.
Location: very central - shopping, dining out, bars/pubs, coffee shops, movie theaters, and a lot more.
The hotel is along one of the main streets in Vancouver and is close to a lot of things. eg. shopping, coffee shops, restaurants.

We stayed for one night at this hotel when we entered the room there was a bad smell we asked for a king bed and they gave us two queens also in the middle of the night the air-conditioning has started leaking while we were sleeping by the morning all of our luggage and clothes were soaking wet the manager came to the room and offered to Troy everything I have in the dryer and since I had a nice dryclean clothes I refused the only thing they offered us wasand free parking my hi Michael Coors bag is ruined along with a couple of sweaters so overall it was not a good experience

Nice Hotel, central to everything.Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Great location!
Cons: The restaurant staff could be greatly improved. We went in for breakfast and they were all very impersonal.
Location: Great location! close to Robson St., shopping and all the entertainment
My family and I stayed downtown for one night so we could go to a Canucks game and the Super Skills the nest day. The hotel was in a great location so we could walk to Rogers Arena. Our room was really big and clean. Not much of a view but it was comforting to know that St. Paul's Hospital is right next door :)

DisappointedPosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Good lighting
Location: It was a really far walk to the arenas and should not be included in the "Entertainment District" on the website
Although the hotel common areas were nice, the room was a huge disappointment. It wasn't very clean and even though they knew there were four of us, there were only two towels available. The biggest "Plus" I can give the room was that it thankfully wasn't lit by compact fluorescent bulbs, which are too dark to see with.

Great Value for the price and central downtownPosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Great Value and modern, central locations and large rooms.
Cons: Update room furnishings and decoration. Fix the smell in workout room.
Location: Central easy walking to everything.
Good overall experience considering the lower room cost. Windows are single pane and do allow a good amount of street noise in especially the busy street out front and police and ambulances that are pretty busy down Burrard Street. otherwise rooms are very roomy. Rooms are dated and simple but for the money its clean and a very good value. The rest of the hotel is pretty updated and modern. The work out room is terrific but it smells like rubber pretty bad - i think the floor material is off gassing big time! could barely handle the smell feel unhealthy to breathe. I like that it has a pool and steam in mens room that is pretty private and relaxing.

Nice Hotel Right DowntownPosted Dec 15, 2014
Cons: The toilet paper was pretty much single ply.
We stayed here for out anniversary weekend. It was great because it fit our budget, and was just a few blocks from all the great places in downtown. We also lucked out and got an upgrade, putting us on the 30th floor with a great view!

Great location and friendly staffPosted Dec 14, 2014
Pros: Location, room size, cafe and restaurant on site.
Cons: Furniture could use some updates.
Location: Shopping, food, entertainment (comedy club in the building), movies, music all in a few blocks of the hotel.
My friends and I head up to Vancouver a few times a year and we always enjoy our stay at Century Plaza. The furnishings are a little outdated, but the rooms are clean and roomy. The staff is always nice and helpful and the location is great.

Nice place to go to, right in the downtownPosted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: Good location, clean, good price.
Cons: Nothing signifficant, just minor suggestions such as: replace old tv remote controls. use less chlorine to wash the bed sheets.
Location: Go see Canada Place, FlyOver Canada, quite an experience! Try Stepho's Souvlaki Greek Taverna and the Transylvanian Traditions Bakery (Davie St)
A good deal for somebody who wants to visit Vancouver

Convenient and comfyPosted Dec 12, 2014
Great beds and a great location. Easy access and a not bad rate for parking. Nice to have the fully equipped kitchen and lovely croissants in the coffee shop in the lobby
