Great facility...close to lots of amenities, bus waterfront. Lots of helpful staff. Our room had two walls of glass so our view was spectacular! The restaurant had wonderful variety of food... And the hot tub was awesome too!

"Excellent Hotel for a ferry day visit to Victoria"
This Hotel is only a few minutes away from the BCFerries Tsawwassen port to Vancouver Island. Excellent overall quality of room and common facilities. Gracious and helpful staff. The room was clean and in excellent condition and very well equipped. Close to shopping, fast food outlets, and full fare restaurants and bars. The price was reasonable for the have high quality of the facility. Only drawback was construction of new building underway next to the hotel. Indoor free parking.
The hotel bus/van will pick you up at the port after 3 pm. No transportation to/from ferries at other times. The taxi service to ferries was way over priced for the distance travel from hotel to port making it cheaper to park longterm at the port facility for the day.

The hotel room was very comfortable, clean and roomy. The internet was slow but not the worst I've seen in hotels so far (if that's saying anything). The staff were prompt and courteous. Apparently my room came with a complementary breakfast but I was not given any info about this at check-in and chose not to take advantage of it regardless.
There is a free parking lot that is shared with the casino where you can park your car. We had valuables in the vehicle and were concerned about theft and were told we could also park in the parkade at no charge. The front desk told us that there are cameras set up in both the parkade and parking lot (but of course the hotel is not responsible for stolen items or damages, as always).
There's an extra charge for more than two adult occupants. There was a free newspaper in front of our door every day that we stayed, which was nice.

We were travelling back to Calgary from Vancouver & wanted to cut a bit of time off the trip by staying in Surrey for our last night. The hotel was full so we did not get the room we had reserved - we got an upgrade to a suite. I would have been happy to have this room the whole time we were in Vancouver! There was only one queen bed but the sofa folded out to a bed for my daughter so that worked out OK. Our neighbors apparently could not move their numerous massive suitcases into or out of their room without slamming the door against the wall multiple times but that was the only noise we noticed from outside. Inside the suite, we had a TV in each room, a small sofa & chair in the living room as well as a little kitchenette (that we had no use for, unfortunately). The bathroom was small but the door opened outwards so that helped - our previous hotel room had a bathroom the same size but the door opened inward which sometimes caused some awkward maneuvering. This was a nice place to stay.
