Good for stop over

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Free shuttle, handy to airport.
Cons: Is in need of a facelift and update of rooms.
Location: Seemed an ok location. Did go for a walk around area and seemed reasonable area.
Clean hotel and room. Good experience with the staff. Very handy for stopover and sleep after long flight. Restaurant right there with reasonable meals.

Near the airport and worth the money.

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the airport. Great king-size bed. Refrigerator and coffee maker provided.
Cons: Just make sure your guests are aware that they need to use the courtesy phone as soon as they arrive, to get the shuttle there.
Location: Not the greatest location...sort of a commercial district. Lots of bus and truck traffic going by, but we didn't notice any objectionable noise.
It's not a 5-star hotel, but doesn't pretend to be. It's an excellent value for the money. We were pleasantly surprised. The pub directly across the driveway is a good place to eat...good beer and pizza at a reasonable price. The only "negative" I'd have to warn people about is that it does not run a regularly scheduled shuttle. We waited for 35 minutes at the airport shuttle stand before I asked another shuttle driver if the Coast Airport ran a regularly scheduled shuttle. He said he "thought so," but he recommended I use the courtesy phone (about 10 feet to my left...which I hadn't noticed) and ask them. I did, and the the clerk said it would be right there...in about 20 minutes. It actually took 25, but the hotel is only about 10 minutes from the airport, which we discovered the next morning. Anyway, all I was looking for was a place to sleep before my flight the next day, and it was more than adequate for that. One thing, though, the hotel has its own restaurant (which we didn't try) so there's no "continental breakfast" included.

Bathroom could be better

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Sheets, bed, floor were clean. Older hotel. No funny smell. Free news paper. Ok wifi speed for general surfing. Bathroom could be better. Lots of black grime all over tiles. If the hotel wants to cheat, at least just spray some bleach over the mildew. Black grim on the corners of the floor / wall in the bathroom. Felt dirty after shower with all he black grimes and even wearing my flip flops. Location is great. Close to Richmond Chinatown and airport. Overall, I'd stay again. Next time though, I'd bring my own bleach spray. Not cheap 167$/ nite. Thought it would be better

perfect for travelling around Vancouver.

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Ideal stituation, very comfortable
Cons: Nearby parking in the carpark is to be payed for while staying at the hotel.
Location: Sky-Train, Denny's Restaurant and bus service close by
The hotel is ideally situated, close to the airport and the Sky-Train that runs from the airport to the city or from Richmaond to the city. Very cheap as the day ticket can also be used on local buses. helpful staff and the White Spot restaurant is accessed by the lobby. Will staya again when visiting Vancouver
