“Great hotel - especially for the lower price!”

Evidently not a great part of town, and difficult to get in/out because of one-way traffic - but VERY nice, great quality furniture, doors, etc. Most hotels have some kind of rust in bathtub, etc., but none here. Even a tall, quality shower head! My grown daughter and I were impressed and enjoyed our stay! And only a short distance to sky train.

“Beware!”

Paid for 4 nights in advance, and they still wanted a $200 deposit; none of this mentioned in ad. Had to remind them half the time for room service. No refrigerator or microwave in room as advertised. Room very small. Internet connection was almost non-existent. Worst motel I've ever stayed in!

“Not clean. Wouldn't stay again.”

When we got to our room we discovered that it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guest's stay. Went back to the desk and asked for another room. We were given keys to a new room and when we went to that room we were shocked to find that that room still had people and their belongings still in it. Went back to the front desk, and didn't even receive an apology. Had to wait for the 1st room to be cleaned, even though it was 5:00 in the evening, which made us late to meet our friends for dinner. In checking out our room, we discovered big, long, dark hairs on the pillows and in the tub and on the carpet - Gross!!! The overall cleanliness of the room was greatly lacking - the lampshades were grubby - the walls were sticky,etc. the coffee maker didn't work, and the lighting was really poor - very dim. Our room faced the parking lot and was very noisy all night. The neighbourhood isn't very good and seems to get worse at night. I wouldn't stay here again.
