Good value for pet friendly hotel

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: -friendly staff -clean hotel room -hardwood floors rather than carpet -excellent location -charged a single pet fee for the stay, not per night (note: this should be confirmed directly with the hotel as at one point they thought it was supposed to be per night) Cons: -front desk staff struggled with what we thought was a very basic question (are there pubs or restaurants with outdoors patios within walking distance (and yes there are). -hotel room was very small - not that that was an issue for us but for some people it might be -no green area for pets in the immediate area of the hotel Overall a good value for a pet friendly hotel.

Pros: the location
Cons: elevator very slow and small
Location: location is great, lots of coffee shops close by, restaurants, shopping and very close to the harbour.
Only there for one night but all was great, room was small but only comfy. Hotel staff were great any ?? I had they answered and I was on my way. Took train from airport which takes you 2 short blocks away from hotel. Great location.

Close to Cruise lines

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Centrally located in downtown.
Cons: The hotel had only one elevator which was very small and slow. We were on the 5th floor and most of the time took the stairs because the wait was so
Location: There were many restaurants around and close to the the water ferry to go to Granville island, or other locations.
We wanted a hotel which we could walk to after a cruise. This was perfect. Centrally located in downtown. Easy to walk for meals and access to other sites. The hotel was older, yet they were doing some refurbishing. The room were small, but clean and very adequate for a one night stay.

They are redoing some of the rooms and the smell of floor varnish is awful.

It was a good location but the hotel was eh and the stairs were hard to get to blocked by doors and such and the elevator took forever so that sucked. And parking is $18.00 a night so that definitely adds up. It's already a pretty dingey hotel and they are asking too much each night, the least they could do is give free parking like most other hotels.

Overnight in Vancouver.

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: The heater/AC was excellent and easily controlled, the bed was very comfortable, the room was immaculately clean, and it was quiet. I got a good rest
Cons: The bathroom tile was broken in one spot.
Location: It's in downtown Vancouver near Stanley Park, the "sky train", and the entertainment district. There are night spots, restaurants and art galleries.
I stayed overnight in Vancouver (I live in Victoria) on personal business. The Day's Inn Hotel was an excellent location for my purposes and was very comfortable. The staff were very polite and very helpful. I was glad that I stayed there even though it was only for one night.

Great Hotel

Posted Mar 30, 2015
I stayed here for a night so I didn't have to drive back to Portland after a Soccer match. It was a great experience. It was close to everything. Only 2 stops from the Stadium station on Skytrain.
