DisappointingPosted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: Across from conference.
Cons: Chairs and mattresses.
There was only one comfortable chair to sit on. Awful chair to desk to sit on. Bed sagging in the middle. They stated their beds are just soft. When someone actually looked at it they agreed it was sagging. Had to move rooms. Poor customer service overall!

Great staff, clean, poor parking, not a great areaPosted Apr 15, 2014
+'s Staff is very nice, lobby and room were very clean -'s Right on the fringe of where West Hastings it turns into a 'not so good' area Main entrance is in alley on backside of building vs right on Hastings Parking is across alley in totally different building WIFI signal showed moderate strength, but did not provide internet access Mini-fridge in room did not work (polite staff promptly brought another one that did though) Main TV in room did not have a TV signal (bedroom TV did though) No swimming pool All in all, not a bad stay. I would expect more from a hotel of this level though, in the way of better parking and amenities. Based on the location alone (too close to bad side of Hastings) I would not book here again.

Friendly efficient and comfortablePosted Apr 14, 2014
I chose this hotel out of location. As soon as I walked in I had a welcoming feeling with kind and friendly service. I arrived early and they accommodated as soon as a room was ready. The room was bright and quiet. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The washroom was clean, spacious and brightly lit. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying there again. @

Very nice and well locatedPosted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: Corner bedroom rooms are great
Cons: Wait staff were exceptionally competent and welcoming
Location: Gastown, Convention Center, Pacific Center Shopping,
Stayed 3 nights at Delta Suites Vancouver on Hastings. Very well located to Gastown and downtown shopping, restaurants, and Convention Center. Exceptionally nice rooms with full walls of windows on 2 sides of the bedroom.

Good value for families experiencing downtownPosted Apr 1, 2014
Arrived and it was ranking (of course). We were greeted quickly and helped inside. Check in was quick, valet was a great option we opted for - good value considering the added security you feel, having one less worry of something that can ruin a great time. The room was on the 17th floor, with a nice sliding opaque separator for the bedroom. Great service, when we went down to walk to the event in the rain and a young child, we were offered umbrellas (plural). We didn't think we needed 2, but we did- one for the stroller and one for us! We arrived back late, and had run out of milk for the little one. Upon calling the desk to inquire about nearby shops that could sell us some, they offered to bring a cup up, free of charge. Very helpful! Check out was smooth and just as efficient as check in. Car was brought up front immediately. All around amazing experience. Would definitely return.

Great hotel if you like walking to places.Posted Mar 30, 2014
Housecleaning walked right in, dated room, upgraded but to no view, billing issue, outrageous parking fee, staff was friendly, nice walking distance to many places.

Close proximity to dining, shopping, entertainmentPosted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: The staff was excellent!
Cons: There is no pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, or spa amenities, at this hotel. As with any city, don't go to far down W. Hastings st. towards Main st. at night.
Location: The hotel was exactly one block from Water Street. There are numerous restaurants, clubs and shopping. This hotel is in proximity to Gastown.
The hotel was selected by Expedia for the price of $215 for two nights double occupancy. Once the hotel was paid for, then we received notification that it was the Delta Vancouver Suites on W. Hastings st, exactly one block from Water Street and directly across from the Vancouver Look Out. Upon arrival we upgraded to a king suite for an additional $50 per night that included 24 hour on site parking at the hotel for the entire weekend, continental breakfast, and evening hors d'oeuvres. The upgrade was worth it!!! The staff was excellent as they brought the upgrade to our attention. We really enjoyed this hotel for our first visit to this area of Vancouver BC. We definitely recommend this hotel for proximity and excellent staff.
