Gorgeous Hotel Close to Downtown

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Everything -- location, convenience, price, staff. Will stay again.
Cons: Signage indicating which part of the parking garage hotel guests are to park in. It's the lower (P2/P3) entrance, and you have to buzz at the gate.
Location: Very close to downtown. Nice area, lots of little shops and places to eat. Had some amazing lamb and rice about 2 blocks away.
Excellent hotel. Standard room was well appointed (iron, hair dryer, mini fridge, coffee maker, lots of towels, toiletries, two comfortable sitting chairs with table, and a huge widescreen telly) Everything was clean. Room had a balcony overlooking the city. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Parking garage is connected to the hotel and has in/out privileges (i.e. it doesn't cost you to go in and out). This was very helpful, considering there aren't a lot of places to park around downtown, and what there is costs a fortune. Very reasonable cost. Has a restaurant up on the top floor. Even though I had a room close to the elevator, it was very quiet. Room keys are wireless, which was very convenient. Elevator is fast (and there were 4), with a very smooth ride. Couldn't tell if you were going up or down, and no weird stomach sensations. I know that's a weird thing to comment on, but I hate elevators and these ones were great!

Hotel was pleasant, well located in downtown Vancouver, and had a very nice view of English Bay and Stanley Park.

Pros: Location is perfect.
Cons: Of course, the wifi should be improved.
I love the location because it is located in Robson Street. It is convenient for travellers to get public transports.

Great Stay

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: The view from our room & the restaurant!
Cons: Not much that I could see.
Location: Lots of shops & restaurants as well as a short walk to the waterfront & Stanley Park. Canada Place is close by & it is pretty central to everything.
Was treated well & really enjoyed our stay. Saw all the sights we could as being centrally located it was a short walk to most everything. The staff was great & accommodating & were very helpful when we needed a few extra things in our room for my elderly mother. Had a great time & would do it again, no question about that.

great views

Pros: Location
Cons: Update the bathrooms
Location: Robson Street, Stanley Park
Wonderful views from the room and restaurant. Updated lobby and rooms - except for our bathroom. Although it was very clean, it could use an update. Comfortable beds. Getting out of the garage was a little difficult due to the turn required. Great location on Robson. Plenty of restaurants and shops. Not far from Stanley Park. Bicycle rentals close by.

Robson Street Hotel

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Serve Sunday brunches until 13:00hrs.
This hotel appears to be on an austerity drive. They have a lovely roof top, revolving restaurant so I invited my two brothers and their lady friends for Sunday brunch. On reserving a table, I was bluntly told that the service stopped at 09:30 and the restaurant closed at 10:00am.!!!!!! During the weekday breakfast service the restaurant does not revolve. What a shame sitting on one of the world's most beautiful natural harbours.

It's terrible!

Posted Apr 15, 2014
This hotel is in very nice location in DT. Everything in the room is not very bad, but not that good either, I can live with it for couple of days. The worst is the sound of the faucet and showers from neighbouring rooms. Don't know if it's the room next to mine or in the next floor. Specially when you're sleeping. I was watching tv when this sound came out from the heat vent. I had to volume the tv all the way up in order to hear the tv. That's terrible!!!! The only good thing here is the view since this is a 42 storey building....

Pretty.. But not worth it..

Posted Apr 13, 2014
It was only two nights and strictly for sleep between work but it still would have been nice if my balcony door closed all the way. Or if my heat/ac wasn't ridiculously loud. Or the three minute flush toilet.. The view of the harbour was gorgeous.. But not worth it to go through all that again.

my stay

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Safe and clean and comfortable. I had a room just outside the elevator and it was quiet.
Cons: Let people know that when you turn on the TV, you need to wait before "changing" channels. I thought something was wrong but I was wrong.
Location: Stores and restaurants are close. There is a safeway just down the street and if you like to shop, stores are everywhere.
I was way too early for check in but was given a room. How nice was that I got to put my stuff in the room and see Vancouver early. The room was clean and all those special soaps were nice to have too. Every day, the room was cleaned and I left a tip with a little note. Check in was fast and so was check out. I felt safe there and it's close to everything, especially since I walked everywhere.
