Central locationPosted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Lobby area was nice. Secured parking. Elevators were quick, no long waits.
Cons: Front desk signage, drop off area signage, weather stripping on patio doors
Location: Located on Robson st, lots of shopping & restaurants. Only a few blocks from Stanley Park & Canada Place.
Nice Hotel, rooms are a bit dated. Front check in desk is not clearly marked it is hidden behind a wall Lots of wind the night we stayed, patio door rattled for most of the night.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Room was clean and large enough and price was good value for money.

Great location at affordable pricePosted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: The lobby the view and the location.
Cons: I would create a view stories with more luxurious rooms as an option. Get some corkscrews.
Location: Stanley park is close. A lot of neat restaurants. Cycling is what we did, it's perfect for that.
The staff was helpful and polite. The Lobby looks impressive, but the upper areas are more basic (narrow hallways). We were about half way up, on 12th floor and had a nice view over Vancouver and a bit of English Bay. The 3 elevators were fast and clean inside. Our room ("Deluxe Room") was basic, but functional with a small kitchen corner mostly equipped with a coffee machine. Our stay was pleasant, the price for the room was appropriate, specially if you consider the view and the location.

Great deal and location!Posted Oct 26, 2014
We stayed for four nights. This is a great hotel for the price and the location. You are within one block of a dozen places to eat of every background imaginable and dozens more a few blocks away. The hotel is located on Robson Street, which has an amazing array of places to eat and shop. It was a short walk to and from the convention center each day for the GSA meeting in October. The walk is worth it. You really get to see what Vancouver has to offer. The hotel is also conveniently located near the seawall and Stanley Park. The view from the balcony on the 22nd floor is stunning! The rooms and bathrooms are clean. If you do not mind rooms that where made in the 70s and have been updated, enjoy the substantial savings for the location. We walked to Downtown, Stanley Park, Chinatown, and Gastown from our hotel. The location does not get any better. The dining on the 42nd floor is amazing. We stopped in for desert and the view. The hotel service was amazing. My card is not accepted widely in Canada (Discover), yet the hotel staff worked with me to get a cash deposit for the room that was only half the usual amount. They were also quick to inspect the room for damage to give my deposit back immediately upon leaving even we left at 2 AM for the airport. There is always kind and professional cab drivers waiting in the lobby for you at any hour and any destination. The only bad thing about the stay was the WiFi. It is slow, but don't spend much time online!

One of the worst hotels. Broken heater aircon not working. Managemt indifferent to your predicament. Worst parking underground....

Nice view, location, and price. Lacking in comfortPosted Oct 23, 2014
Pros: Views and location.
Cons: Noise. Mattress.
Location: Everything is nearby. Nice central location.
The views are astounding. The location is excellent, as is the price. Good basic hotel -- nothing special inside the rooms. The bed was ancient (sunken -- your back feels the springs within). Great comforter and pillows, but the mattress needed serious work and even on floor 20, the sounds of the surrounding traffic and nightlife made it through even ear plugs. FABULOUS views.

Compact, clean hotel in downtown VancouverPosted Oct 19, 2014
We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel has basic amenities, but is very clean and comfortable. It is central enough to provide walking access to Stanley Park, the sea walk, downtown shopping, and good restaurants are plentiful. The only negative (which could also be a positive) is very weak wifi signal in the rooms. Give yourself a vacation from the interweb!

Good Downtown locationPosted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: The view from the balcony
Cons: update the rooms especially the bathroom. Improve the Wifi it was horribly slow during my visit, took close to 1 hour just view my e-mails.
Location: Great downtown Vancouver location, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby
Just about what I expected for the price. Rooms are dated and really need a makeover. View from balcony was great

Good location but low quality for a 3-star hotelPosted Oct 15, 2014
Tiny room, charged fees which weren't indicated anywhere, room service was deficient (always missing items such as soap, toilet paper, etc), no AC. Would not recommend as there are better 3-star hotels in the same neighbourhood.

Love the view.Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: I like that it was downtown as well as the hight of the hotel. Beautiful views and high enough away from street noise. :)
Cons: Update the bathrooms.
Location: Lots of good restaurants and asian foods. Just down the street from Stanley Park, Granville Island and shopping.
The hotel should invest in a cleaner from their local Home Hardware to clean the grout between the tiles in the bathroom to eliminate the smell.
