Good Downtown location

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: The view from the balcony
Cons: update the rooms especially the bathroom. Improve the Wifi it was horribly slow during my visit, took close to 1 hour just view my e-mails.
Location: Great downtown Vancouver location, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby
Just about what I expected for the price. Rooms are dated and really need a makeover. View from balcony was great

Good location but low quality for a 3-star hotel

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Tiny room, charged fees which weren't indicated anywhere, room service was deficient (always missing items such as soap, toilet paper, etc), no AC. Would not recommend as there are better 3-star hotels in the same neighbourhood.

Love the view.

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: I like that it was downtown as well as the hight of the hotel. Beautiful views and high enough away from street noise. :)
Cons: Update the bathrooms.
Location: Lots of good restaurants and asian foods. Just down the street from Stanley Park, Granville Island and shopping.
The hotel should invest in a cleaner from their local Home Hardware to clean the grout between the tiles in the bathroom to eliminate the smell.

Nice staff n facilities, easily accessible by bus

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Courteous staff, location and facilities.
Cons: WiFi was a little disappointing. Could not connect Wifi on my mobile however i was able to use it from my laptop with decent enough speed, if not that
Very pleased with the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful in providing all the info we need as new visitor to Vancouver. Had no troubles in getting to the hotel using public transit. Robson street where the hotel is located is pretty good. The view from upper floors should be awesome. We were on the 18th and did not get a good view but room on probably 25th or above should have a nice view from balcony.

Good location

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Good location many restaurants to suit everyone's taste. Within walking distance to many attraction. Hotel a little bit dated but clean. One problem is the staff on reception need to be trained in customer services, they are quite rude & unhelpful. After travelling for over 14 hours you don't want to be shouted at like a child as you are 1 hour early for check in. We only wanted somewhere to leave our luggage. .

Comfortable

Posted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: The location and price was right
Cons: Make the TV work.
Location: Nearby is Stephos greek restaurant which was an excellent place to go. Up the street was also Forage which too was good organic food.
I was at the hotel for 5 day for a Training Workshop also held at the hotel conference area. The room was comfortable and clean. Hotel staff were polite and prompt. Internet is included in the room rental which is a bonus. However, the TV did not work in my room nor in another participants room so that was a downer. Housekeeping did a good job and the one problem re: noise from the thermostat was responded to promptly. The price was reasonable. There are plenty of place around the hotel to enjoy very good eating and restaurant experiences including the Cloud9 revolving restaurant which is really fine dinning.

excellent location . Front desk not pleasing

Posted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Washrooms
Location: Restaurants, Shopping, waterfront and bars
overall experience is good but getting room at lower floor was too disappointing. After paying for the upgrade we got the room at the higher floor. Front desk staff was too UN cooperative.
