Just OK

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: The staff was very accommodating
Cons: restaurant service
Our stay was just OK. We were excited to have dinner in the revolving restaurant, but when we got up there at 9:00 they were no longer serving dinner. We did, however, have a few bar appetizers and drinks. We felt like we were kicked out at 10:00. The room was average & the hotel needs an overall upgrade.

Location

Posted Sep 13, 2014
The location is fantatic, close to many restaurants and shops but that's about it....rooms are outdated but not dirty....the most painful experience was the check in time, this man ( Jack ) was the rudest person I have ever seen....unfriendly and rude!!!! The price for the location is very good, so I would stay there again!

Beautiful view

We stayed on the 21st floor and the view was gorgeous! The rooms are comfortable and clean, but have seen better days. Nothing fancy.

Excellent Downtown Location

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location - Excellent Bell Staff
Cons: The helpfulness/friendliness of the front desk staff.
Location: Great downtown location. Close to Stanley Park, restaurants and shops!
Our group of 9 stayed here one night prior to a cruise. The location is excellent. Close to everything. The bell staff at this hotel are EXCELLENT. Very friendly and very helpful. One gentlemen even got special permission to take my daughter and niece to the revolving restaurant while it was closed. We all greatly appreciated this. Very helpful with organizing all our bags, calling taxis for us, and recommending restaurants. The hotel is a bit dated but the city views on the higher floors of the surrounding water cannot be beat from the balconies. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a long vacation but for one or two nights before or after a cruise it is perfect!!

Location!

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location and great views.
Cons: Decor and fittings need updating, rooms look a little worn.
Location: Right in the heart of the West End close to Stanley Park, Coal Harbour, shopping and dining all within steps of the hotel.
Nice, clean hotel in Vancouver's West End. Close to everything. Decor and hotel fittings could use updating, but it is well maintained.
