Strange stay

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: The location.
Cons: Staff interactions need to be friendlier. Only 1 set of bathrobe & slippers for three adults. The stairs lock you out of the rest of the hotel.
Location: Vancouver nightlife.
Don't take the stairs; you get locked out of the hotel and have to walk around downtown Vancouver with no shoes carrying an ice bucket. Desk staff were good, the rest of the Hotel Staff were curt to the point of rudeness. Something happened in room 712; Mr. Turner took care of it; don't ask.

Nice hotel centrally located

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Beautiful boutique suite hotel. Decorated with an European accent. West Coast Sightseeing provided door to door pick up/drop off.
Location: Easy walking distance to water front (3 blocks from Canada Place), two block from public transportation (Granville central station),
This delightful hotel was centrally located close to public transportation and the waterfront. Staff was pleasant and very knowledgeable.

Twin size bed is really tiny.

Posted Sep 8, 2014
We had 3 people total and got 2 twin beds. On the picture it shows lik full SD I've but it's really very tiny and no way you can have 2 people on that one bed. My son is 3 y.o. But the door bell man was very nice and helpful, so his nice attitude made up for that.

Magnificent stay

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Service and staff, closeness to all the city had to offer
Cons: Hard to have light and views in a city hotel
Location: See above, close to everything,we like to walk, but cabs and public transportation is readily available
The service and staff was some of the best I have ever encountered, the inclusive breakfast was great.concierge service, made tours and getting around the city so easy.rooms and cleanliness were exceptional, although as a city hotel the views even in a corner room, were blocked by others buildings.restaurants and the waterfront were only 2 blocks away, and even on the day it rained we were in walking distance of a movie theater. I cannot compliment the staff enough, they truly made sure we had a wonderful vancouver experience.

Nice hotel

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: I like the small suite type rooms this hotel has, nice for families or couples to have a separate bedroom and living room area.
Cons: Bed was noisy. They had 2 options for pillows, both were too large for me.
Central location, friendly staff and nice rooms. Didn't have me down as an expedia elite member so I didn't receive an upgrade. Gave me breakfast to compensate and were nice about it though

Great location, good value

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Super helpful, friendly staff who tried to make things right (extra pillows, mattress pad for very hard sofa bed)
Cons: Hotel needs new computer for guest use (only one very old computer located in creepy area of hotel); super hard sofa bed (extremely uncomfortable)
Location: Within walking distance of major attractions and hop on, hop off bus
Great location, good value for price, said everything I want to below, done, thanks!

Close to convention center; bed comfortable; great

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: convenience - in town and close to the convention center. within walking distance to downtown and activities.
Cons: Internet was slow. There is no pool. Access to the ywca is $11.00 which is costly per day per person. Ideally, the cost could be 0.
Location: Convention center 5 min away. Mall is 2 blocks. You can rent bikes, even electric assist ones and go to Stanley Park and ride around it or shop
Usually most hotel beds are not comfortable, especially for someone with fibromylagia but this hotels bed was very comfortable and we woke up without pain. All the staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and very day the housekeeping did a great job! The walk to the convention center was a short 5 minutes. We would recommend this hotel highly.
