Close to convention center; bed comfortable; greatPosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: convenience - in town and close to the convention center. within walking distance to downtown and activities.
Cons: Internet was slow. There is no pool. Access to the ywca is $11.00 which is costly per day per person. Ideally, the cost could be 0.
Location: Convention center 5 min away. Mall is 2 blocks. You can rent bikes, even electric assist ones and go to Stanley Park and ride around it or shop
Usually most hotel beds are not comfortable, especially for someone with fibromylagia but this hotels bed was very comfortable and we woke up without pain. All the staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and very day the housekeeping did a great job! The walk to the convention center was a short 5 minutes. We would recommend this hotel highly.

OVerall nice. THe WIFI was really, really bad.Posted Aug 5, 2014
Cons: The WIFI
Location: Gastown was walking distance and so was the the Cruise Terminal
GREAT location to Canada Place. If you are taking a cruise, easy walking distance to the port! The WiFi though was not so good. It was difficult to stay connected at best. They gave me a cat5 cable to hardwire but that was also suspect and would not connect at all. Back to a spotty wifi.

Great downtown location for walking everywhere!Posted Aug 3, 2014
Our California family visited Vancouver for 6 days and stayed in a corner suite. 2 adults and 2 semi-adult teenaged boys. Overall impression after our stay is that "Canadians are so friendly"! Nice to have two separate bedrooms and TVs for evening relaxation. Appreciated the fridge. Wish there had been a microwave. Cable TV and wifi were sketchy the last two days of our stay which wasnt a huge deal for us as we were out sightseeing and didnt return to our room until late. However we were unable to check in for our return flight home due to internet not working in our room the last night. The housekeeping staff was very responsive to our requests for towels, blankets and additional coffee! The front desk staff was super accommodating. Of special note is Paul. He was always there to greet us upon arrival "home". The concierges were helpful as well. While we only ordered room service once, it was a decent meal at a fair price. Overall- Pros: downtown central location is perfect, staff goes above and beyond to make your stay great, and the cucumber water and apples in the lobby were much appreciated after a long day of sightseeing! Cons: the room was pretty small to squeeze 4 people in for 6 days, no microwave, corner rooms have wifi and internet connection issues.

parking costs $30 a dayPosted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: The front desk and bell staff were excellent. The bellman Max was particularly kind to me.
Cons: Get rid of the parking fee.
Location: There is a strip club next door.
getting a god room rate is killed by the parking fee. $10 or $0 is more appropriate.

Pros: Location. Room styles and very nice atmosphere.
Cons: Put a patio on rooftop. All buildings tall in city. Would be great view
Location: Walking distance to Gastown, waterfront, Robson St and close to all kinds of public transportation
Vancouver is a Fun city to explore. The choices for food are good. Stanley Park or Capilano Suspension Bridge park nice places to see.
