Perfect location, perfect staffPosted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Location, room size/furnishings and awesome staff.
Location: A few blocks from Canada Place, shopping areas and transportation. No car needed. Within a two minute walk you could get transportation anywhere.
Can't say enough good things about this hotel. The hotel itself fit the bill of being special. We had corner suite which had two large window in living room and bedroom. Each room is a little different and staff was very accommodating to help find a room that was perfect for us. Furnishings were well appointed and bed very comfortable. The main reason that the hotel was perfect for us though was the staff. We asked for recommendations on where to go for an anniversary dinner, they gave three recommendations based on good food/fancy, good food/more casual, good food more casual with view. They made reservations for us (we choose view) and made sure we had a great seat (with the best view) and even had restaurant give us an extra appetizer. The staff was also very knowledgeable on places to go and gave perfect directions every time. Would definitely recommend hotel to anyone who wants a high end hotel experience with a very personal touch.

Hotel Le Soleil is the perfect place to stay!Posted Jul 3, 2015
Our corner room was smaller than expected but it was nice, quiet, and clean. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, soap, mouth wash, shower cap, and even shoe polish kits. Our request for higher floor and away from the pet designated 3rd floor was fulfilled. Due to our late arrival, our sofa bed was all set up upon arrival! We love the location! We were able to walk to Canada Place, Stanley Park, Robson street, Gas town, Yale town, China town, and Waterfront station to catch the Sky train to Richmond/airport and Seabus to North Vancouver (Londsdale/Capilano/Lynn). We also happened to be there on Canada Day and were thrilled to be able to enjoy the parade (from our hotel room 1212) and fireworks at Canada Place which was only 5 minutes walk from Le Soleil!

Wonderfully friendly staff and perfectly clean, comfy rooms stocked with premium sundries. And located in the most convenient part of downtown Vancouver. Highly recommended.

Good hotel but..Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Convenience and price.
Cons: Better booking arrangements.
Staff were good,. Housekeeping was first rate, not always the case in high end hotels. Two things less than positive. The sitting room has no windows and is very dark. Two, when we booked we asked for a room with a tub. When we arrived there was only a shower in the room. We couldn't upgrade because the hotel was full. The woman at the desk was somewhat less than sympathetic.

Excellent city based suite hotelPosted Jun 21, 2015
All the staff were friendly and helpful, United airlines managed to lose my luggage but Victoria did all she could to assist and keep me informed. A fine alternative to the big named hotels.

Very nice hotel. Located in the City Center.Posted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: The location, decor, service staff.
Cons: If you had a shuttle from the airport would have made my stay perfect.
This hotel was centrally located. It was about 2 blocks away from the Canada line so it is very convenient if you need to get to the airport without spending $40 for a taxi. The train ticket one way is $4 CAD. There are numerous restaurants within the area. The Vancouver art gallery was 2 blocks away. I had a really nice stay.

Only a single night ut could have stayed longerPosted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: Everything -- location, staff, quality of the room, we liked it all.
Location: Location was 3 blocks from Canada Place, close to buses and subway, and providing easy access to most of downtown Vancouver
We arrived a day early for our Alaska cruise and were looking for a nice but less expensive venue than the cruise line suggested. This hotel delivered it all. The suite (they kindly upgraded us) was beautiful, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the location was fabulous. We had easy access to further in town, to Stanley Park (and bus routes), to the Metrolink lines, and more. Best of all, when it was time to head to the ship, it was an easy 10 minute walk, even for two out of shape 50 yr olds. Many thanks to the staff for recommendations for meals and things to do.
